The Problem with War
The Problem with War
“No one ever wins a war, and wars are never over.”
No one wins a war because to win is to make a loser and no one wants to lose.
Where there is ''other'' there will always be conflict.
Always be yourself, the real fictional character.

Re: The Problem with War
I am just curios, do you REALLY BELIEVE that sentences like; No one wins a war because to win is to make a loser and no one wants to lose. logically follow?
Re: The Problem with War
Everyone loses at the game of winning.
Re: The Problem with War
No one has seen the light. No one has seen the dark.
Both dark and Light exist as one whole. There is only wholeness one without a second.
Concepts ARE known...NOT SEEN. That which is known knows nothing...except in this conception.

Re: The Problem with War
The problem with posturing for a war in this day and age with all the sophisticated weaponry at our disposal is a pointless pursuit.
We can't have any more wars, not like the ones we've known in the past, because another world war would mean total chaos that we will never recover from.
So, already knowing the world will never recover from another world war is why we cannot have another world war.
I do not think human beings are ready to go extinct, and if there is another world war, it will amostly certainly guarantee the extinction of the human species.

Re: The Problem with War
Why is Russia doing this?
The usual answer is something like;
He is evil
He is a warmonger
He is the aggressor
He wants world domination
Russia has no checks and balances
Putin wants to be the most powerful man on earth.
But there are other factors at play regardling the encrouchment of the Eastward march of the Western sphere of influnce and the west backed fascist coup in Ukraine which is playing the West and Playing Russia off against each other.
In truth Russia does not want Ukraine to join NATO, and Biden refuses to rule them out as a candidate.
The six items listed above are little more than cake dressing from the West's propaganda machine.

Sounds to me, like the age old stories of culture wars.
Each wanting to mind their own while opposing any one who tries to change it. In which case, there is not much hope for the long term survival of humanity as a world wide all in bed with each other scenario. Since we all think according to our own cultural and conditioned belief structures, that are so ingrained into our minds, that we know of no other way to be, and habits are hard to break.

The west used to use the "spectre" of communism as their excuse to attack other countries, both with warfare, economic war, and culture war.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 12:22 pmI agree with what you have stated here.Sculptor wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 12:03 pm

But the cat is out of the bag. There is no more communism to blame. Has this stopped us continuing these attacks? No, the attacks continue- some have not even noticed the fall of communism, and the same tired tropes remain.
Re: The Problem with War
According to Putin Russia and Ukraine are one people.
Reports today: ''All these people will die because of you': Zelensky slams NATO's refusal to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine and says that it gives Russia the 'green light' to carry out more attacks as Kremlin declares limited ceasefire in Mariupol''
If only someone knew what the hell is going on here.
One thing I do know is there is no ENDGAME for humanity until we all make the same realisation that when one of us is hurting, we are all hurting. How complicated do we have to make what is very simple.
What's the difference between wrong and right...?
WRONG
____________
RIGHT
How many more innocent babies are we going to sent to their horrible bloody deaths before we realise we've had enough of all the hurting?
Either we stop making babies, or we stop making bombs and guns, and soldiers to launch the bombs and gunfire. It's that simple. Reality is very simple, until it's made complicated.
If you need to defend yourself...then that SELF was never free....no matter how much you try to delude yourself into believing the contrary.

If you believe you have a self to defend, then you will always be on the defensive with yourself. In battle with your own shadow.
Truth is, nothing that lives ever changes, life is horror show, denial is futile.
