Re: Surely evolution and Christianity are fundamentally opposed?

Cant see why christianity and evolution are compatable because evolution deals with physical change in forms. Where as christianity deals with consciousness. I dont think evolution effects consciousness because consciousness is supernatural.

Consciousness on the other hand does not evolve it stays indistinguishably the same in all animals. Brains change forms but consciousness being supernatural remains the exact same thing. Christian...

Well if consciousness is out side evolution as a supernatural element. Then as death it must be resbonsible for form changes in life forms.

Re: Surely evolution and Christianity are fundamentally opposed?

Christianity and evolution are not opposed to each other. Why because christianity is just describing god consciousness and consciousness is supernatral to the event. So death which is the main force for change in evolutionary forms is a supernatral part of the event which changes the event forms.

Re: honesty

Yep go with you on that wander we have to be honest about being dishonest to be honest. Only by honesty inside can we be honest on the outside I reckon. Whats veiwing the honesty or lack of it is our real self so if someone says that they are honest then it has to be ego the false self talking.

honesty

In saying you are honest does that make you dishonest or ignorant of your own dishonesty. Cos nobody can be truly honest or can they.
