Talk about banning Extremism can be dangerous.
It gives the impression that only the confused middle ground is virtuous and legal.
Perhaps some people are Extremely Virtuous – whatever that may be.
Conforming with the law can be an excuse for tyranny.
We should be opposed to Extreme Authoritarianism.
We should be opposed to Extreme Personal Autonomy.
In which case we should be in favour of Extreme Communal Responsibility.
Freedom is opposition to Authoritarianism, and has two extremes – people en-masse and the community.
