I'll build a fire in the fireplace for when my wife comes home and then I'll just try to help her be comfortable, she's not feeling well right now.

Nasty flu season. I hope the fire helps her sweat.thedoc wrote:I'll build a fire in the fireplace for when my wife comes home and then I'll just try to help her be comfortable, she's not feeling well right now.
She's able to move around even though she's not feeling well?

Apparently she's not feeling that bad, just enough to not feel well. She had cataract surgery a few months ago and was concerned that there might be some connection, but she went to her eye doctor and there is no connection. Pink eye on top of a mild cold. Just enough to make her feel bad but not enough to slow her down. Thanks for your concern, I'll tell her.Philosophy Explorer wrote: Nasty flu season. I hope the fire helps her sweat.

I knew some stupid yank would bring up their nasty, shallow, commercialised version of 'St. Valentine's day'. Is there no end to your vulgar revoltingness?

I knew you would turn up like a bad penny/farthing. Nothing commercialized here as I don't get paid. Revoltingness!!!!! The American Revolution was over 200 years ago so you must be living in the past.vegetariantaxidermy wrote:I knew some stupid yank would bring up their nasty, shallow, commercialised version of 'St. Valentine's day'. I think it might be Valentine's Day pretty much everywhere in the developed world.Philosophy Explorer wrote:It's Valentine's Day (US) so what will you do?

So, as the OP of the question, what did you do?
I hope you had a day filled with love, romantic or otherwise.

I exchanged Valentine's greetings with a neighbor. Otherwise the day was routine for me.ForCruxSake wrote:I think it might be Valentine's Day pretty much everywhere in the developed world.Philosophy Explorer wrote:It's Valentine's Day (US) so what will you do?

If you love routine, it would have been a perfect day!Philosophy Explorer wrote:I exchanged Valentine's greetings with a neighbor.
