Please do not abuse the word "literally". The only way to put yourself into your work would be to boil down your body into a mould.

Rodin was the greatest sculptor ever. I've been to Paris to se his work, and read several books about him.
He was a man of humble origins that, not only, reached the pinnacle of his profession against all the odds, but also forever changed his art.
