The Fundamental Model of Reality
Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
Are you able to say and write down here what the so-called and claimed 'fundamental model of reality' is exactly?
If no, then why not?
If no, then why not?
Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
It's right here:
https://www.nonconceptuality.org/1-fund ... of-reality
There is no way to make it more obvious.
If you don't understand it, please explain what is not clear and maybe I can help.
Same goes for the video in the OP. I don't understand how someone can't understand it. The problem isn't with the understandability of the model, it is with one's inability to accept it.

Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
Just out of curiosity [more or less], what on Earth do any of these particular assessments of "system of thoughts", "things" the "cult mentality", etc., have to do with, say...
1] the conflict in Gaza or Ukraine
2] the presidential election here in America
3] conflicting goods
4] birth and death
5] religion and God
6] the Final Solution
7] race and gender and sexuality
8] capitalism vs. socialism
9] our day to day interactions
10] the existential parameters of dasein
Note to Veritas Aequita and Alexis Jacobi:
Do you concur with his...conclusions?

Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
This model resolves the greatest philosophical question:
"How does something come from nothing." If you study it you will come to see it clearly.
I understand how this theory is unlike anything else, ever. It is difficult to think new thoughts; to follow a previously untaken line of reasoning, I honestly do. This theory has taken 8 years to fully reveal itself to me.
This is the greatest philosophical revelation of all time. All great revelations take a long time to be recognized. Just study this theory for a while.
The final, concluding Truth reveals what is false. It isn't something new within the old paradigm, it is the revelation of something old that destroys the old paradigm.
Sincerely

Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
"Potential" is the word used to represent fundamental reality, like "Tao" or "God". Prior to a phenomenon arising there is the potential for it to arise. The word "potential" expresses the state where the phenomenon is not, but could possibly be. "Nothing" expresses only the state where the phenomenon is not. This is why something cannot come from nothing.
The 0 of the number system is taken to be "nothing" or the lack of numbers. But 0 represents the source of the number system; the potential for the number system. This works for the 0 when it appears in 10. "Potential" infers the possibility of the system ceasing, where the number system as conventionally understood, just mechanically keeps expanding. The 0 that is potential rather than an absence that will inevitably be filled, expresses the option to stop. The number system is an expression of the journey (Samsara) AND the conclusion of the journey (Enlightenment).

But what gives rise to the potential, and what determines just how that potential is actualised?roydop wrote: βFri Jan 26, 2024 9:23 pm"Potential" is the word used to represent fundamental reality, like "Tao" or "God". As I understand it, the zero in the number system just represents an absence of quantity, and I can't see the point of thinking of it as unrealised potential. The 0 of the number system is taken to be "nothing" or the lack of numbers. PS, I come from Yorkshire, England, not the Far East, so words like, "Samsara", are not part of my vocabulary, and probably never will be.

4. As the Fundamental Model of Reality expresses, birth and death are appearances within LIFE. Life is all there is; one cannot not exist.
5. As the Fundamental Model of Reality expresses, you are God
6. The final solution is abidance in/as thought free Awareness. The voice in your head is not what it tells you it is. The entire human species is under the spell of that voice, and as such is heading toward literal madness and hell

A "condition" perhaps?
Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
I could be wrong, but I assumed he was referring to the Holocaust.
Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
The greatest philosophical revelation in history is sitting in a philosophy forum and no one recognizes it.
I even show WHY it goes unrecognized and still you people can't see.
It's equally funny, and sad.

Re: The Fundamental Model of Reality
That's because, in my view, all you basically provide us with in the video are a bunch of words defining and defending other words. A classic "intellectual contraption". There's no connection at all that I was able to discern between the words and the world that we actually live and interact in.
Though, sure, if you want to note it was posted in the Metaphysics forum, fine.
"Derived from the Greek meta ta physika ("after the things of nature"); referring to an idea, doctrine, or posited reality outside of human sense perception. In modern philosophical terminology, metaphysics refers to the studies of what cannot be reached through objective studies of material reality. PBS
Just leave material reality [like the Holocaust, conflicting goods, politics etc.] out of what I construe to be the philosophical equivalent of a word salad altogether.
