Every indictment against Trump is a Political Lawfare attack. The tactics are to apply unique interpretations and intents to old statutes, some of them really old.
If they get overturned on the grounds of idiocy, so be it. Their Lawfare purpose will have been served and the damage done by the time the overturning gets mentioned as a footnote on page 26 of the NYT.
January 6 was not an insurrection. Period. The Kangaroo-committee destroyed evidence to prevent subsequent discovery, should Trump try to sue for damages caused by defamation.
