At this point, I don't really care one way or the other what happens to Trump. If it hurts you so badly to see a gold-collar billionaire who tried to subvert an election in his favor with some pretty shady tactics win a court case, that's fine. There are crooked Wall Street tycoons that have gotten away with worse, I suppose.

If you all want to vote for Trump and put him back in office so he can assume dictatorship (which he apparently wants to do) then there's nothing I can do to stop you. All I can say at this point is thanks for the war in Iraq that your all's man Bush got us into and the sabotage of our once decent relations with China via Trump's shenanigans. I hope we can all still survive whatever happens in the next round of foreign policy whiplash.

Here's the thing man. Philosophers and political theorists don't believe in 'classes' of people. They think this is some bullshit made up by marx, but it ain't.

If you're some wealthy guy who galavants around the world and has no problems, of course u don't want the government fuckin with u. Of course u wouldn't endorse an idea that obligates everyone to work. Of course u want low taxes. Of course you'd be opposed to socialism becuz u don't need it.

But if you're workin class, u want as much help as u can get becuz you're struggling financially, and the capitalists sure as fuck ain't tryna help u. So u aks the government to pitch in somehow and make shit easier for u. Your kid's school tuition, your meds, your housing, your insurances, whatever keeps more money in your pockets and out of the hands of the capitalists.

This isn't 'philosophy' here, Einstein. This is real life, and real class warfare that translates into political party divisiveness.

So if you're a workin class joe, don't call the conservative unreasonable when he votes republican. And if you're petite bourgeois, don't call workin class joe unreasonable for voting democrat.

Until u recognize that classes are not figments of your philosophical imagination, you'll sound like a putz when u are in political debate. And that's before i show up. After I show up, u go from a putz to jackass.

I have long thought that voters “vote their pocketbook” and that’s just as true of people whose interests differ from mine as it’s true of those who agree with me. Perfectly understandable.

But here’s the rub: when people vote their conscience it can become more difficult to recognize your opponents as sane human beings. Both sides can become adamant and even dogmatic.

The southern border is one example of this mess. No one could enjoy the potential ill effects of a completely open border, nor those of a completely closed border. Yet each position seems to encompass the belief that the other side is crazy.

Thanks to an ongoing Center for Immigration Studies Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, the public now knows that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has approved secretive flights that last year alone ferried hundreds of thousands of inadmissible aliens from foreign airports into some 43 American ones over the past year, all pre-approved on a cell phone app. (See links to prior CIS reports at the end of this post.)

The Biden administration’s legally dubious program to fly inadmissible aliens over the border and directly to U.S. airports has allegedly created law enforcement vulnerabilities too grave to release publicly.
