Actually Twitter has been a revelation. It took a while to get used to but the algorithm, seemingly magically, steered me to only threads by astonishingly clever, creative, insightful people. I don't even know how that happened. Where else would I ever get to actually engage with Elon Musk, JK Rowling, Richard Dawkins, or the man who wrote Father Ted?
