What about skepticism (re Agrippa's Trilemma)
For the discussion of all things philosophical, especially articles in the magazine Philosophy Now.

What about 'it'?
Besides the Fact that that so-called 'trilemma' DISPROVES its own self, through self-refutation, the other way that 'it' is False, Wrong, and Incorrect is just through AGREEMENT. Just like how ALL Truth is FOUND, and UNCOVERED.attofishpi wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 2:59 amSo go ahead and do that.
NO IDIOT. Will you ever acheive anything on this forum!!?Age wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:04 amBesides the Fact that that so-called 'trilemma' DISPROVES its own self, through self-refutation, the other way that 'it' is False, Wrong, and Incorrect is just through AGREEMENT. Now, if you would like to DELVE INTO this FURTHER, then just EXPLAIN what YOUR version of 'agrippa's trilemma' IS, EXACTLY.

GO AHEAD AND SHOW HOW the trilemma "DIPROVES ITSELF THROUGH SELF REFUTATION."
This WAS the TYPICAL RESPONSE of the adult human being when they BELIEVED some 'thing' was true, but could NEVER back up and support that BELIEF.attofishpi wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:19 amNO IDIOT.Age wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:04 amBesides the Fact that that so-called 'trilemma' DISPROVES its own self, through self-refutation, the other way that 'it' is False, Wrong, and Incorrect is just through AGREEMENT. LOL After years of EXPLAINING MY PURPOSE for being here, there were STILL SOME people who BELIEVED that their OWN VERSION for ME being here is the ONLY REAL VERSION.
READ the ACTUAL WORDS of that so-called 'trilemma'. What can be CLEARLY SEEN is that that 'trilemma' DISPROVES and REFUTES itself.attofishpi wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:19 am GO AHEAD AND SHOW HOW the trilemma "DIPROVES ITSELF THROUGH SELF REFUTATION."
WHY do you write some words in OTHER languages than 'english' in this forum?Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:33 amAgrippa's trilemma ... is not "just another claim" if you catch my drift mon ami.
EVEN the word 'philosophy' MEANS SO MANY DIFFERENT 'things' to SO MANY DIFFERENT people.Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:46 am There seems to be at least two ways that we could stumble and fall in re philosophy.
1. There's nothing to talk about.
2. Agrippa.
Agrippa's trilemma is self-refuting alright. What else is self-refuting? That, mon ami, is the million dollar question.Age wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:26 amEVEN the word 'philosophy' MEANS SO MANY DIFFERENT 'things' to SO MANY DIFFERENT people.Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 3:46 am There seems to be at least two ways that we could stumble and fall in re philosophy.

To me,
1. Absolutely NO one could EVER stumble and fall regarding 'philosophy', itself.
2. 'Agrippa trilemma' is just a SELF-REFUTING set of words ANYWAY.
you appear to be OBVIOUSLY MISSING the WHOLE POINT here.Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:31 amAgrippa's trilemma is self-refuting alright. What else is self-refuting? It all began with the claim that we can know things. How? If so then ... Agrippa's Trilemma
If you do NOT KNOW HOW 'you', human beings, come-to-KNOW 'things', and you REALLY DO WANT TO LEARN, and KNOW, then GREAT.Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:31 amAgrippa's trilemma is self-refuting alright. I intelligo mon ami. Blunder detected. However if skepticism is self-refuting, there's something else wrong with Descartes.Age wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:55 amyou appear to be OBVIOUSLY MISSING the WHOLE POINT here.Agent Smith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:31 amAgrippa's trilemma is self-refuting alright. 'agrippa's trilemma' ITSELF is CLAIMING to KNOW some 'thing'. Is this understood, by you?
And, HOW can 'agrippa's trilemma' PROVE that what 'it' CLAIMS TO KNOW is true, right, or incorrect?
SEE, EVERY time ANY 'thing' 'TRIES TO' CLAIM that A TRUTH can NOT BE KNOWN, then that is A SELF-REFUTING CLAIM, ITSELF.
