-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you agree that "Knowing can only know the knowable", then every premise thereof follows by definition.

My argument is pure linguistic logic. "The linguistic logic of this post's argument follows correctly from its first axiom" is a true statement.

This argument proves that God exists by definition. A definition that can be deduced from the definitions of "knowing" and "truth". If you agree with the definitions and meanings of the words: "knowing", "truth", "mind", "inside", "outside" "in", "of", "is", "possible", and the laws of thought and logic, then it follows from my argument that God exists.

Language references reality. Linguistical analysis can reveal truths within the logic of our experiential understanding of reality, thus revealing truths of reality itself.

All that one is, in himself, is a mind. reality is all a mental experience in one's mind, and all of it is qualitatively mental, in one's mind. He who speaks of truth outside of mind, speaks linguistic nonsense that breaks the laws of thought and logic. Truth is a word of language, and language is mental in the mind. Truth is only in the mind by definition. All truth is reality that is in mind. God exists because he is mind of all reality that is all truths. God exists by definition.

Looks like you misunderstood what the problems were with your last effort, and have decided to repeat them but in minute mistaken detail where previously you had enormous leaps of mistakeness.

How is 'that' an alleged 'very simple god proof' EXACTLY, "magnolia5275"?

I would have thought something like:

The word 'God' refers to ... [some 'thing']
That 'thing' obviously exists and thus is irrefutable.
Therefore, this is a very simple proof that God exists.

Would have been a MUCH simpler god proof than the one you expressed above here.

'you' can keep 'trying to' DEFLECT, but the Fact that the 'two' CAN BE reconciled is IRREFUTABLE. Unless, OF COURSE, one has and holds IRRECONCILABLE definitions for the 'two'.

71. God is his biblical name (Exodus 3:14)
72. God is real and so am I

Okay, sure, why not: let's suppose that all of this is true.

God is real. One of these perhaps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_r ... traditions

So, how might we reconcile our existing God with...

...an endless procession of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and tornadoes and hurricanes and great floods and great droughts and great fires and deadly viral and bacterial plagues and miscarriages and hundreds and hundreds of medical and mental afflictions and extinction events...making life on Earth a living hell for countless millions of men, women and children down through the ages...

...this?
How dare you question the ways of the higher power! The reason bad things happen is that it's all collateral damage, a "side effect" of creation. God is all good. If you get eaten by a lion, the lion can thank god for the delicious meal. amen

How dare you question the ways of the higher power, Magnolia, as they work through Iambiguous to irritate you.
God is all good. If you get irritated by an Iambiguous, Iambiguous can thank God for the delicious pleasure of bothering you.

Well done Magnolia, Lord Chtulu is pleased.

He's cracked it lads. You all exist soleley in the mind of Lord Cthulu. The bad news is that he has been having a giant wank for the last 70 million years and once he's done we all end up in a sock.

Glad to see you have finally got it, well done! Yes, this is all a dream of a greater mind that is just dreaming everything that is happening. Lord Cthulu is the mind-god of reality. If all is a dream, then all that is dreamt is as real as the dream. LOGIC!

Sure, but it's not a dream. He's feasting on your insecurities to feed a truly frantic mega-wank. There's tentacles and sweat flying off in every cosmic direction. Other people's universes are getting covered in stinky juices.

By definition. But note this doesn't take into account that that which is unknowable now, may be knowable in the future. I also think it's bad to not speak in terms of sentient subjects. I think it's better to say something like 'We cannot know the unknowable.'
2. Knowing cannot know the unknowable
Same exact reactions as the to number 1
3. Knowable is [what can be in the knowing]
Similar reaction to what is above.
4. A truth outside the Knowing is a truth outside [all can be in the knowing]
I don't know why you are using a spatial term. Metaphor? Literal? And again, time can change things categorized so.
5. A truth outside [all that can be in the knowing] [can not be in the knowing]
Same reactions as to 4
6. [What cannot be in the knowing] is not knowable
I don't think we're getting anywhere, but you may well be trying to get rid of leaps.
7. A truth outside the Knowing is knowingly non-knowable
Verging on gibberish and also still a tautology.
8. Knowable is that which [can be known]
No. You have an adjective being made equal to nouns. That doesn't make sense.
9. That which [can be known] is that which [can be in the knowing]
You're repeating yourself.
10. Knowable is that which [can be in the [knowing]]
same problem
11. Knowable is that [which can be in [that which can only know the knowable]] ((1.) insert)
same problem
12. Knowable is that [which can only know the [knowable]]
same problem plus the problem of not having a person/agent/subject is getting worse.
13. Knowable is [that which can only know itself knowing] (insert self-reference)
And now since you ASSUME that a process is a subject. IOW that Knowing is like a person, it's like you get to conflate the process of knowing with the person. So the assumption that knowing the knower and the known was placed in the early wording and now seems like some kind of conclusion. But it's not, it's assumed in the early premises.

Naughty, naughty.....
1. Knowing can only know the knowable
A knower can only know the knowable.
Knowing can't know anything. It's not a subject. You reified a process into a subject! no less.

Eating isn't happy. Reading isn't finished. Reading notices words.

Right there in treating an abstracted process as if it was like a person (subject) you set the ground for all sorts of shenanigans, including a demonstration of solipsism being the case. There are later problems also, but right there you just made something up.
