Anyone, not just the postmodern idiots, who puts feelings above facts is epistemologically bankrupt.

Even you don't believe that! Your entire shpiel is actionable certainty, right? And some times, we must act even in the face of uncertainty!

What do you think the word "emotion" means? It is that which moves you to action - it's even got the word "motion" in it. Without emotion you'll just sit there in your armchair, learning, never being moved to do anything with all that knowledge you've amassed.

Hume had it figured out... Reason is a slave to passion. Epistemic facts are only inputs to decision-making.

It's important to put "feelings above facts" when we're talking about stuff that occurs only as feelings. So, for example, when we're talking about food preferences, or music preferences, or preferences with partners about how to make love, or anything like that, we need to put feelings first, as that's all that stuff is.

Facts can be about feelings. Facts are more or less certain while feelings are more or less the opposite of that for decision-making purposes. That we must sometimes resort to a lesser certainty says nothing of the relationship i've laid out.

The force is not the aim. The former comes from our subconscious animal mind, and the latter from our most evolved, intentional minds. The intellect is better for all intents and purposes beyond emotion for it's own sake.

There's no conflict there. The fact is, that emotion is your highest priority in that case. Still it's a one way street. We can reasonably account for emotions either of the present or in relation to a predicted future, but to make decisions that require rational thought emotionally leads to disaster. In other words, feelings are only good for their own sake.

I don't know how you can make any decisions if you don't know what you want.

And I have no idea how you could possibly know what you want (or, if you are in an actual leadership position: what everybody wants) if you aren't in touch with your own feelings; and with other people's feelings.

Introspection, reflection and emotional intelligence are part&parcel of decisiveness.

Those are the words of an internally conflicted individual. You've invented a stand-off between reason and emotion. You resist your very own nature.

Reason/intellect WITH emotion works much better than Reason OR emotion.

Flawed, because the 'woke' don't 'feel', (unless you classify hypocrisy and virtue-signalling narcissism as 'feelings').
