No, Gary. That would be a mistake.

I kept emailing her how much I love her and how much she means to me and she'd just reply, "you're so sweet" and that was it. So I'd say something nice a couple more times and she typically wouldn't reply. Then I'd get frustrated and say some inconsiderate things. Then she'd reply how "sick" I am and how much "help" I need.henry quirk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:34 pmTell me what you did, as a man.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:31 pmI've tried being a man, it doesn't help. Yeah, you weren't bein' a man. You hounded her, put her on the spot, insulted her when she didn't respond as you wanted.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:39 pmI kept emailing her how much I love her and how much she means to me and she'd just reply, "you're so sweet" and that was it. You weren't respectful, to her, or yourself.
She's a person you want to attract; not a commodity to buy.
Tell me about her. Her interests, her likes, her dislikes.

Fair enough. I've moved on. If she wanted me she would have said so. I gave her over 50,000 for those insults. If she wants more she'll have to pay me, then I'll be happy to insult her again.henry quirk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:54 pmYeah, you weren't bein' a man. I know all about it, Gary. You've whined about it multiple times. That's how I know you haven't moved on.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:57 pmI've moved on. Changin' out a flat. Remember: loosen the lugs before jackin' the car up. And be gentle or you might snap the stud.

Safety. Working a lug while the car is suspended will rock the car. A rocking car can move off the jack. Also, don't go knockin' when the car is a'rockin'.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 2:18 pmWhy do you loosen the lugs before you raise a car?henry quirk wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 2:15 pmChangin' out a flat. So, in conclusion, you want to jack up and avoid jacking off.
