there ain't no national health crisis...the crisis is the on-goin' over-reaction to a nasty cold

The virus which is invisible to the naked eye has more power than the entire visible us army.
That's the funniest joke of all, the virus will have the last laugh, as do all viruses.
Ugh!!

Doesn't matter if it's being used as an excuse, a virus is a virus, they are not your friend, it will have it's way with you, if that is your fate, you are at the mercy of a virus, not the other way around. Your own body is full of viruses and bacteria, your own immune system can turn on you at any time killing you without the slightest bit of empathy for how you feel about that.
Virus wins, you lose...fact.

No matter what you believe it's a good idea to protect your nearest and dearest by keeping away from crowded spaces, and wearing a mask in case you are a carrier.
Re: Natural death causing viruses prove that humans are never free
Yes, and most importantly protect the heath services. ( That is the MAIN PRIORITY ) Hospitals and staff are only designed to cope with X amount of people at a time. When this X amount goes beyond the bounds and limits of normal everyday running capacity to cope, then this is not an ideal scenario. No one, not even our governments want to enforce lockdowns or put in place tough restrictions, but when times get unusually difficult and tough like they are during this current pandemic then there is no other alternative. Overwhelmed hospitals are not the ideal, even worse is if medics are gettting sick too which would only exacerbate the problem even more, the inevitable shortages of doctors and nurses would not be ideal in a time when there is an unusually high number of sick and dying people.
So we're stuck between a rock and a hard place no matter what we do or don't do. Pandemics are not to be ignored. It's about the capacity to run hospitals with maximum efficient safety and assurance. If we do not protect the health system then we're all doomed. Imagine being in a really bad car accident and then needing urgent assistance, but the hospitals are full of covid patients, and the doctors are all too busy, or too sick..we then live in a scenario where we are to choose who to save and who to let die.

Not really. All her lil clip illustrates is what is obvious: each and everyone of us gets to choose, wisely or poorly, wrongly or rightly. This is how it works. Risk is inherent. If the fellow not wearin' a mask, or the waiter who mebbe sneezed all over your pasta, is a worry to you: stay the hell home, prepare your own meals.
Defend yourself: that's your goddamned job.

But do you not think there would be a lot of deaths from starvation due to nobody going out driving the trucks that distribute food around the country?henry quirk wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 4:27 pmNot really. If everyone adopted the dumbed-down simple intellectually compromised mentality and stayed at home in a defiant bid to serve their own selfish interest of defending it's liberties. Then human societies would collapse. Luckily, there are some intelligent human beings out there who are able to see the bigger picture.
As for the ones who choose to 'kick against the pricks' ...they deserve everything they wish for, namely, disfunction, lawlessness, disorder, disease and ultimately their own death.
