Fuck the carbon footprint.

Private jet business is 'booming' with people paying $15,000 PER HOUR to evacuate coronavirus-prone areas and to avoid travel bans.

Kudos to the the selfless heros working on the front line.

Wuhan doctor, 57, who fought coronavirus side by side with late whistle-blower medic also dies of the disease after contracting it through work.

I'll pass... 👍🏻
Ok, so then how about taking a cruise on a floating petri dish, how does that sound to ya?

https://www.ship-technology.com/feature ... s-tourism/

AIDAaura, a cruise ship operated by German cruise line AIDA Cruises, has been stopped at a Norwegian port due to coronavirus suspicion.

As informed, two passengers on board the 42,289 gross ton cruise vessel are suspected to be infected with COVID-19. They remain quarantined in their cabins.
Oh, hell no: I'm a landlubber.

You mean we should be welding people into their flats whilst they die and let the live ones out later? Not high-tech at all, in fact the same measures we used to use in London during the Black Death and that didn't exactly work.
As for countries like Iran, Italy and the UK ..Unless they adopt China's draconian measures by dealing with the obvious hysteria of the whole issue by locking down whole communities, ...
Oh yes, that'll stop the hysteria. You are mental.
then the UK is going to be up the creek without a paddle. No time to be blasé or carry on as if nothing is happening. The propaganda that mainstream media feeds it's people, has it's own agenda, namely not to panic people into stripping the shops bare of supplies. Prepare silently, as it's better to be safe than sorry. Even if it does all turn out to be a storm in a teacup, it doesn't harm to be prepared. When our governement say we are entering uncharted waters with this thing, then I think that's of some major concern. ...
It's uncharted because it hasn't happened since WWI and the Spanish flu but it's not been unexpected as the epidemiologists have been waiting for this for decades.

Can you stock up on enough supplies to last until the spring? Lucky you. Even then it may not go away, in fact it'll probably never go away but hopefully in about 18 months we'll have a vaccine, shame for the anti-vaxers tho', although I think we'll find they suddenly like the idea of a vaccine.
Two coronavirus patients in Devon are bizarrely transferred 400 MILES away to a specialist unit in Newcastle despite three hospitals being closer - raising fears the NHS has run out of beds and families could be torn apart.
Lol, you don't go to hospital much do you? There haven't been enough beds for decades. Plus you said above that we should be isolating them a la the Chinese and we can't keep them in general hospitals as there are ill people there who may well get infected and die.
Still, one good thing is that if it does hit the worst case when its all over we may well re-examine the privatising-out of the non-medical staff in the NHS as this zero-hours race to the bottom has led to low standards with respect to hygiene and we might well reconsider this public open-house visiting hours policy in the name of convenience to the visitors rather than the old restricted visiting hours that allowed proper cleaning procedures.

However, by-an-large those that should be concerned are the old, ill or very unhealthy, the rest of 'us' will mainly get a temperature and feel ill for a while. What we don't know is if we can catch it more than once, that may well be an issue.

Although I'm very surprised you're bothered at all? As according to you there is no birth or death, there is no 'you' to be infected, it's all just an illusion affecting no-one so you should be just fine.

Poverty and women's place in such societies.
Because they were the only impoverished countries on the planet? I think there's a lot more to it than that.

Take a look, all impoverished countries where women are kept from employment and education have high family birth-rates, the Chinese and Indian civilizations have been around a long-time so their numbers have built due to their civic stability. It's clear that the best population control has been women getting the opportunity of education and economic employment hence the neutral or falling birth-rates in the 'west'.

That's right, I'm personally not bothered. Afterall, upon awakening from a dream, it is seen that although the dream seemed real, actually, nothing ever happened. Nothing happens in a dream.

The human drama is an acting pretence played by no one, it's all part of the grand illusion that is consciousness at play.
My character script in the movie involves everything I have said on this thread. It's just what appears to happen albeit not really happening.

It's ok for you to reject what I am saying to you in this response, for I personally do not care, for I trust only in the one who brought me here and made what appears to be my life possible at all, which I'm forever awestruck about. I trust in the ways of the universe, call it nature / god or whatever, I have no fear of anything that can make something out of nothing. Or even if everything has always existed eternally then what is there to fear, there is absolutely nothing at all to fear. As I surrender totally to God's ways, I know my life will be effortless. I shall know no fear.

We're all just creating the drama out of nothing. And we do it because there is nothing else to do. It's all but a dream anyway, and anything can happen in a dream, albeit not happening.

Everything is mental. The script is written by no one, it is unwritten until it's written. Once written, it's gone.
No one knows what will happen until it's happened, until it's gone.

''When a play enters my consciousness, is already a fairly well-developed fetus. I don't put down a word until the play seems ready to be written.''

In other words, no one is playing this play or writing it, except a phantom writer actor when the urge to play appears.

I don't expect people to understand this, but many do.

''Investigate yourself, this is the purpose of your being. Spirituality is nothing more than understanding this play of consciousness. Try to find out what this illusion is by seeking its source... ''

Meanwhile, back to what's happening in the dream world....

Boris's 'battle plan' breakdown: Troops on the streets, police murder investigations put on hold and patients turfed out of hospitals as one in every five workers go off sick and town halls are put on 'death watch'

Panic-buying Brits strip supermarket shelves of pasta, couscous and water: Shops are left bare of larder essentials as well as toilet roll, Berocca and disinfectant as coronavirus ‘preppers’ brace for meltdown.

So apparently you know there's a "God/Universe' now?

What is this blind trust you are giving?

Concerns over the COVID-19 virus has resulted in numerous people in various countries, including the U.S., Canada, Australia and South Korea, all heading to stock up on supplies at grocery stores and pharmacies.

Just had to share these comments ..not mine, but funny really funny.

It's like last minute Christmas shopping around the world. Every day.

Advice: avoid large groups of people to prevent catching the virus

Reality: large lines of people to buy toilet paper and hand sanitiser

There's no need for toilet paper if there is nothing to eat.

When being fat pays off in surviving longer periods of starvation.

This is why the government doesn't say much of anything. It causes mass hysteria.
