And where are the women's rights advocates when you need them? As usual, nowhere. They were only in it to posture, preen, take selfies, and virtue signal as champions of "all women." When real women are under threat, they duck and run.

• Women athletes being displaced by trans-men, losing records, scholarships, prestige, etc.? We can't say anything, because it will make US look intolerant and judgmental.

• Women hopelessly trapped in cultural locales and situations in which men routinely abuse them? We don't help them, because it makes us criticize other cultures and cross culture lines, and that also makes us look intolerant and uninclusive.

• Unborn women? They don't count for anything.

So these alleged advocates show up once a year in silly pink hats, and yell about Trump. And that passes for serious women's rights activism.

They're not kidding anyone anymore.

I'd like to think I am wrong about this. I'm not seeing that, though.

What I see is Feminists who support transvestitism, who butcher their female children without compunction, wear genital-themed clothing, and campaign for the hijab and the birka as tokens of women's freedom and choice.

I see man-hatred, hatred of whites, hatred of capitalism, hatred of morality, hatred of personal responsibility, anti-semitism -- and spite...lots of spite...green-eyed envy...hatred of success, of privilege, of hierarchy, of advantage, of achievement, and of hard work.

I see a love of handouts. Of government paternalism. Of taxation. And an exultation of ressentiment (to borrow Nietzsche's word).

In short, I see a lot of stupidity, a lot of hypocrisy, a lot of posturing, a lot of brain-dead socialism, and no substantive achievements at all in recent times.

If you know it's different somewhere, I'd love to hear about it.

veg is right, mostly. There's a growin' distaste among women (in sports [both professional and amateur] and in the various strains of feminism) about transwomen. In response, trannys are cancelling women who dissent.

Who decided that 'gender' was a separate thing from 'sex'? That has nothing to do with biology--it's an ideology.

When someone has a baby the normal question people ask is 'boy or girl?' The words 'sex' and 'gender' are interchangeable here.

REAL dictionary definition of gender. Concise Oxford dictionary: 'One's sex'.

In a grammatical context gender is the classification of objects roughly corresponding to the two sexes.

To claim that someone's sex is male, while their gender is female, is political gibberish.

Once there's a sufficient amount of Artificial Intelligence available they're going have to figure out which is what because now it seems we're incredibly confused about something we were never confused about.

Other than lobbyin' legislatures to prohibit that kind of insanity, and protectin' my own kid's head from that kinda corrosive thinkin', I honestly don't know.

The most prominent is probably Graham Linehan who is very much hated within the trans community
Also lifelong feminist Julie Bindel who campaigns endlessly against trans women in female only spaces

There is actually a very deep split in the feminist movement with regard to this issue with no solution to it at this point in time
Did you seriously think that every feminist would be entirely accepting of biological males having access to female only spaces

Lisa Nandy who may one day become Prime Minister thinks that convicted rapists who transition should go to female prisons not male ones
And she also thinks that Womens Place UK which campaign against any male inclusion into female only spaces are truly a hate organisation

This feminist organisation exists to guarantee womens safety by campaigning for among other things female only spaces
Again if you were familiar with contemporary feminism and especially here in the UK then you would already know this

I do not label myself a feminist but know more than you about the response of the feminist community to trans women in female spaces
