Yes!
What's required for the “Yes” method of inquiry is to intellectually suspend disbelief in the hypothesis, or premise.
Easy for a child because trust is natural for a child.
Difficult for adults with scars from trust burns.
Example: Without effort the child trusts the parent(s).
The parents explain to the child the specific, objective nature of causation.
Do this, for that.
The child believes and does this.
That happens.
Old dogs know enough.
Old dogs have trust issues and burn scars.
That’s how they got to be old.
That’s why you can’t teach them any new tricks.
