The harsh feelings, which are being entertained towards philosophy originate from the pretenders of philosophy, who rush in uninvited, and are always bullying looking through a microscope to fault with anything That is their theme of conversation.

They proceed straight away to scepticism, which always sees the pure barrenness, and ends with the same abysmal void. Fear conceals behind vanity.

I have spoken with too much excitement; I am sorry but opinion and prejudice is merely conceit. To declare the truth about matters of such high philosophical interest, to carry on the argument when I myself am only a hesitating inquirer I fear that I shall miss the truth where I have most need to be sure of my footing, and not be dragged down by mere opinion.

Philosophers follow the same analogy of plants having proper nurture they grow and mature but if planted in not good soil become the most noxious of all weeds, unless preserved by some higher power.

The mechanical sphere of feeling is an immediate reflective theoretical approach to other, determines logically a way of distinguishing the other.

Pure knowing self operates, as a mediating ground is the ultimate absolute truth and lays the very principle in morality, the moment of harmony; harmony is involved in morality as a method of justice.

We are custodians of philosophy dedicate wholly to the upholding of truth. A just and good people we copy and not are ashamed of this sort of person who acts wisely and leads a life of fairness

Only by good do all things become useful and advantageous. The highest virtue is good. Everyone who pursues it and makes it the end of all actions shines with radiant truth.

Be a slave of good, so that we all may be, as far as possible, under the same law, friends and contemporaries.

The art of enchantment is language of human souls -- they are so many and of such a natures. Student of language must first, have good theoretical thinking and experience and good senses about them in order to master the teachings. The skilful rhetorician has no need of truth it is an art therefore, in speaking, say good-bye to the truth. when a body sounds it enters into a higher sphere bears witness to self- in the face of forces outside.
What has been expressed whether rightly or wrongly, only God knows. God mingles through love not with people or things but through the living thriving arts, love always flowing in is always flowing out. Love is the median between ignorance and knowledge. In the love of knowledge is the idea of good, also the universal author of all things beautiful and right, parent of light in this visible world.

Universal spirit contains the entirety and contains all moments of its contents the form of realized action, the other side mind spirit has the form of substance, an inner principle on one hand, but on the other hand, mind spirit contains within self-consciousness. This moment which expresses the mind spirit in this element of mere being, which is immediate consciousness of self.

Universal spirit is the inner indwelling principle of living in a community operating as the basis of the nation, which shapes and preserves itself by work for universal ends.

For, mind spirit is intrinsically universal and this relation established by nature is essentially just as much a spiritual fact, and is only spirit by being spiritual. In truth, peace, universality of self-conscious is reestablished.

What is truth but certainty of self? The process of recovering truth is knowledge. .

Knowledge frees our virtuous elements, even when we are in poverty or sickness, or any other misfortunes, all things by the pursuit of knowledge will end good or at least as far as we can attain a likeness of good,

Now truth is the instrument of reason. But it is knowledge that comes on the scene and liberates from night to light.

Come embrace through the eyes that which are the windows of the mind, come water and nourish your mind with knowledge.

Visualize the mind from the standpoint of Dialectic philosophy.
I am trying to master what is truth not just belief of self but pure inner purpose in other words, self in and for self.
Little by little, here raise the mind to conceive philosophy of mind. There is no method here but we must quit feelings in order to behold truth.

The artist even when they study with the greatest talent cannot create something new.

When we perceive something either by the help of sight or hearing, or any of other senses there is no difficulty knowing from it some thing like it or unlike it. For example a painter’s extravagant imagination work to paint something new and true when really it is a mere image that dwells in mind already, whether true and real or false and fantastic.

Therefore knowledge is merely recalling. What a remarkable thing the mind is it is a phenomenon, appears to be consciousness. But it is just instinct the same as we sleep to rest and waken to gather food and build.

Knowledge nurtured and cultivated gently sooths and removes the dislike of knowledge. The love of knowledge is forever directed towards things unchanged and which are neither injuring nor injured by one another, but all in order moving accordingly; these we should copy and to these we will, as far as we can. Now how can anyone help not imitating that which is so worthy of deep reverence?

Theuth invented arithmetic, calculation, geometry, astronomy, drafts and dice. His greatest discovery was the use of language, diction, syntax and grammar.

Now Thamus was the king of great city of upper Thebes in Egypt at the time. Theuth was invited to showed Thamus all his inventions with the hope Egyptians would benefit from them. Thamus accepted all of Theuth inventions but not the discovery of language, diction, syntax and grammar which Theuth believed Egyptians would become wiser and would give them better memories; and better wit.

But Thamus refused them said his people would have merely the show of intelligence not actual knowledge. He said that anyone not having attained to knowledge only feeds on opinion has the show of knowledge but not knowledge.

True knowledge reduces to opinion and every consciousness has an opinion but the phenomenon of knowledge is wisdom, insight, understanding not opinion only.

Self contains mind and body. The growth of being true self takes place in layers; every layer belongs to this form through and through and every layer is systematically enclosed of self. Even though this diamond in the ruff self is outwardly rough when broken up reveals inner particles that were not seen when whole. This kernel permeates the entire self is most astonishing when it lets others see through them like transparency.

Love of knowledge today has turned into some oddity misunderstood and unable to learn yet for everybody it is an open road offered made plain for all, something from the first familiar and common

What is taught is already in the philosophers memory they study the best and examine and reexamine, sift and compare until an inward voice proclaims no possibility of doubt. This power and capacity of learning exists in their mind already of the philosopher.

Educators today are concerned only with philosophers personal shortcomings not with the studies or rather the examinations. They make these personal shortcomings their system of teaching, even though they have no real idea of what philosophy is except to say the philosophy is essential. When persons' unworthy of education approach philosophy, what comes out has nothing akin to t love of knowledge.

Mathematics is to gaze towards the full perfection that ought to be. Not in a restricted manner of squaring extending applying and the like but drawing mind towards truth.

Facts are of the intellect only. Mathematics is only seen with the mind not as merchant retailers who buys or sells but by the light of reason. This is necessary in all arts to be able to turn and gaze where full perfection is beholden such as the heavens. The other fact used in common every one first learned that is the little matter of distinguishing one, two, and three, these are mutual affinities the hymn of reason.

Come be released from the chains of ignorance. It is knowledge that has the power of elevating mind to the highest good. This is a given for all who study and pursue it, from shadows from the underground den to the sunlight.

Yeah but we've learnt the problem with 'ought' to be's.
Not in a restricted manner of squaring extending applying and the like but drawing mind towards truth.
but its the "...squaring extending applying.." that does the drawing.

Funny that since History shows that the Mathematicians are well open to being brought and sold.
This is necessary in all arts to be able to turn and gaze where full perfection is beholden such as the heavens. The other fact used in common every one first learned that is the little matter of distinguishing one, two, and three, these are mutual affinities the hymn of reason.
Who are you singing to?

Couldn't agree more, take a Science subject but remember that the laughs and joy are in the Arts.

The hymn of reason is of intellect only and the faculty of sight will be found to imitate it; when a person starts on the discovery of the absolute truth, by the light of reason without any assistance of senses, perseveres until pure intelligence arrives is the perception of good, the end of the intellectual world, as the case of sight at the end of the visible world.

Knowledgeattained before we were born is most important, I am not speaking only of knowledge but reason, beauty, goodness, justice, holiness all that is stamped of essence is most important.

Those who have a natural talent for science are generally quick at every kind of knowledge and even those who are not so quick have had arithmetical training become much quicker than they would otherwise have been.

Geometry may be truly called a necessary knowledge for it is a kind of knowledge that the best learning natures should be trained in and never give up the study.

Hegel said if you wanted to grasp the spirit of nature, gather its meaning, then stand back, and adjust to it. Hegel approached Nature in a partly practical and partly theoretical way his starting point was not the affair of the imagination, but a statement of specific subject.

The acme of scientific procedure will continue to be an ignorant analogy, passed off as knowledge, if we continue to think Nature is other, and that we are other then Nature.

Lovers of knowledge are wholly directed toward truth they care little for gain or fame. Knowledge is their pilot lodged in the mind, it contains the element of freethinking the ultimate absolute truth.

To approach this subject in the right way philosophical thought is needed that exalts truth, not of rhetoric a very tiresome superficial course but one that exalts truth. The element of freethinking knows the ultimate absolute truth of consciousness.

There are two ruling principles in mind here the intellectual world and the visible world. Many people think gain and honor to be the good, but the finer sort of wits knows it is knowledge.

Knowledge is termed recollection, recalls to the mind things seen touched, or by some other senses all stamped of essence; beauty, goodness, justice, holiness.

Philosophy like all spheres of science and art takes a considerable amount of time and discipline. The same as Socrates’ charioteer who drives a pair of winged horses into the sky, one of them is reason and the other is not.

The driving force of them both gives a great deal of trouble to the charioteer the one that is not reason always falls down if fed upon ignorance and meanness whereas the other if fed on knowledge, soars up towards good and beauty.

Reason functions as a centrality midway between all extremes. The absolute end and aim of anything is reason. Doubt and despair shoves against reason because reason agitates the ignorant, broadcasts, declares and proclaims self.

Here in this forum is essentially just as much spiritual action as in any community we must not take philosophy as a mere act of knowing. Philosophy must be substantial in character and universal, sits out of the life of chance and change. It is only as philosophers that we are real and substantial. Quit the senses to behold reason. I know we are in company of our feelings therefore unfortunately we can never truly know.

Philosophy has been cultivated for many ages by the most illustrious people. Socrates believed when a philosopher, a diplomat and scientist meet in one, humankind could rest from troubles. Philosophy demands not superficial consideration but profound eternal truth, justice, courage, and temperance. The true philosopher has the gift of memory, courage and magnificence. To the philosopher opinion is merely hypotheses, that is to say, is only one step of departure into a world above opinion. The true philosophers go to the first principle by taking successive steps, which are an aid to any object ideas, through ideas, and in ideas.

In ancient times, philosophy was base on truth, knowledge and reason. Philosophers exhibited an eagerness to behold these highest part of the mind , real consciousness was presented the spirit of philosophy.

There were a gallery of noble minds and heroes achieving in the first place a willing to give not superficial rhetoric but profound thinking that exalted an infinitude of ideas truth, justice, courage, and temperance.

We must not lose that quality of gentleness on our way through life. If educated rightly, a harmonious mind is both pleasant and brave and the inharmonious is cowardly and boorishly uncivilized.

We need never use the weapon of language like wild animals, all violence and fierceness; that weapon seem to know no other way of dealing. They have no sense of propriety and grace, always abusing and finding fault.

Reason is what we must reflect on and get rid of all the lamentations that are likely to have a bad effect on those who hear them. When truth the kindred power of the mind is captain included with knowledge, justice and health all in company of mind then temperance follows. Reason passes out of opinion, is above hypotheses functions as ithe middle to extremes and feels and understands.

Tyrants have irrational principles that are unnecessary pleasures and insatiable desires. A shameful sort of person come from having a cheap and mean father that causes them to live a lawless life. Tyrants are lords over idleness and greed, Socrates calls them a sort of monstrous winged drone let loose buzzing around.

Their lord of the house within is unnecessary pleasures and insatiable desires every day and every night their desire demands. That is a tyrannical state, justice can hardly be distinguished, because tyranny brakes, crushes, damages justice, it makes it undistinguishable like some ogre?

When thought is asleep even in good people, tyranny wakes gets up walks about without any shame; and acts foolish

Being exposed is the cure. Tyranny needs to be approached so that the gentler element is freed; and temperance, justice, and wisdom the most perfect harmony of body and mind reappears.

“As Minerva fully armed springs forth from the head of Jupiter the mind alone is capable of assuring that what I see is good is merely an unconscious observer it perceives nothing more than thinking of what is present.”

Justice is the excellence of the person and good Look at the city, which is within self and pays attention that no disorder occurs such as overabundance or want.

The just cannot be unjust any more than heat can produce cold. That’s Justice a thing more precious than many pieces of gold; there is nothing else more perfect.
