I am Part of Bill Wiltrack's Brain...

Is the mind the same as the body? What is consciousness? Can machines have it?

You mean you occupy a part of your brain? And that the rest of your brain tells you what to do? That's what you implied.

Tighten up, honestly its good if you do.

Ego, a small part of my brain, feels compelled to constantly re-assert itself through language. Frequently on this web site.

That is what I meant to imply.

People never really understand other people.

Lighten up, honestly its good if you do.

So one part of your brain has to assert itself to other parts of the brain through language? Who are these other parts of your brain that you must speak to?

Actually, one part of our brain has to assert itself to other parts of the brain through language.

These other parts of our brain that I must speak to are neurons in the cortex of our brain connecting with other neurons to form networks of electric & chemical signals. Hundreds of billions of neurons form together to create thoughts, language, and dreams.

Here is an amazing lecture on language and language within the brain;

So one part of yur brain asserts, and another part submits. So does our "ego" assert or submit?

I also got the impression that you thought the ego was a place in the brain.

As I stated above, one part of our brain has asserts itself over other parts of the brain through language.

These other parts of our brain are neurons located in the cortex of our brain connecting with other neurons to form networks of electric & chemical signals. Hundreds of billions of neurons form together to create thoughts, language, and dreams.

Don't know if you were able to view the third video that I provided above but it illustrates the chemical aspect of the formation of thoughts & language.

In a sense you can use the words assert & submit if you choose, for one tree or network of neurons are chosen by your system collects more electrical & chemical impulses. That is exactly how you choose the words, So one part of yur brain asserts, and another part submits. That statement, along with all of your thoughts, all of your dreams and all verbalized speech is just a reflection, in part of your chemical make-up.

Another factor to our brain functions is our mind. Perhaps you characterize this as ego.

I understand the ego to consist of an overall picture of one's mental, physical, emotional, & instinctive functions.

It is interesting to note that the word ego was originally pronounced, egg-o which, I think is reflective of the true nature of the word.

So no, you have chosen the wrong impression in assuming, I also got the impression that you thought the ego was a place in the brain.

Thanks again for great questions and assisting me in developing this thread I am Part of Bill Wiltrack's Brain...

Yeah, this is pretty fucked-up.

It doesn't matter what I have to say.

I'm not sure it even matters what I post anymore.

I'm wondering if the only reason I post anything here is to re-validate myself.

Ego. Pure intellectual ego.

Talk me down.

....................Image

This is so fucked-up.

I can't fight this myself.

Are we all suffering from this affliction?

What is strength?

What is actual strength in this situation?

Am I loosing it?

Are you here too?

Is there a neutral space that we can find within us that would adapt to the ever influx of new stimuli that we are exposed to each and every day?

Is that the answer?

Do we identify the symbols, the forces, that interact with us and learn to code them into positive, negative, and neutral?

Is that how we find the quiet?

Is that how we make or ego translucent?

Where do I go now?

Or am I here?

Do I slide into a fight where all the walls begin?

Escape impossible? Knowing the answer to the ultimate question impossible?

I have only one thing left to do and that is to experience the ultimate answer to the only question that we cannot have an answer to.

"I am Part of Bill Wiltrack's Brain?"

No, that would imply that the brain in question has some substance, and has parts. That being impossible indicates that there is nothing that is part of BW's brain.
