Should menstruation be banned?
Or male masturbation, for that matter?
After all, ova and sperm cells are potential unborn humans.
The key word here is “potential”. The unborn human is a potential human, with all the potential rights of personhood.
And when these potential rights come into conflict with the actual rights of an actual human, the latter should take precedence over the potential rights of an embryo or fetus.
No, neither menstruation nor masturbation nor chemical or surgical abortion should be banned, especially not banned by any dickheads who aren’t representatives of women.
Will tampons and lubricants be next?

Common sense you're looking at this in terms of matter and it needs to be looked at in terms of time.
No reading of novels, procreate more. You could always squeeze one more child (read: for Wizard and AJ awhite child ).
No ski trips - while this may lead to sex, all that driving time and skiing time is taking away from getting sperm in the egg.
(Read: for AJ and Wizard the Muslims are not going on ski trips)
And anyone posting a philosophy forum rather than procreating is a race traitor.

Re: Should menstruation be banned?
menstruation should be mandatory for crossdressers
and every male who participates in female sports should only be allowed to participate while they (the males) are menstruating

Some of them actually get PMS, and I'd be careful even with what one jokes with. There have already been uterus transplants combined with immune suppression for transwomen. I'm sure the technology will only get better, though it's not a smart choice yet. 20 years and they might remove your brain and pop into a semi-cloned body with as much of your DNA as possible, but enough to get it to be a woman's body. Transgendering is going to get easier and more effective.Impenitent wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 1:20 am menstruation should be mandatory for crossdressers

When you see those big lipped, barely expressive mouths from plastic surgery, you are seeing the early warning signs of a completely artificial future. Though I think AI and nanotech are going to get to the artificiality singularities first.

And, what are the, actual, rights of so-called 'personhood', exactly?commonsense wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 4:36 pm Or male masturbation, for that matter?

And, what are, exactly, 'potential rights' and 'actual rights'?
I am not sure how anyone could 'ban' something that happens without human being's influence.commonsense wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 4:36 pm No, neither menstruation nor masturbation nor chemical or surgical abortion should be banned, especially not banned by any dickheads who aren’t representatives of women.

I don’t really know.
Why, exactly?
It’s just my opinion.

Potential rights are not yet active but could become so. Actual rights are already active.

So, all so-called 'potential rights' are just the exact same as 'actual rights' anyway, but which have just not yet 'become active' as there is just 'no one' active yet, right?commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 4:23 pmwhat are the, actual, rights of so-called 'personhood', exactly?Age wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 7:35 amAnd, what are the, actual, rights of so-called 'personhood', exactly?commonsense wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 4:36 pm Or male masturbation, for that matter?

By the way, what the 'actual rights'' of so-called 'personhood' will actually become known to you also after you discover, or learn, and understand what the word 'person' means or refers to, exactly.
