AI and the Market

AI and the Market
If we are to have a responsibly altruistic society in the world, it is imperative that old style capitalism should be abolished or transformed. With AI and Globalisation empowering commerce, for it to be allowed to take on labour and cast it off according to the ‘market’ is to destroy democracy. Already ships are being trialed with barely any crew on board, and few on shore controlling the ships. Globalised commerce will create plutocrats owning everything, with the mass of people as little more than serfs. Commerce, in future, needs to be under the control of Society – not the State – providing what villages, towns, and the country, needs for its entire and holistic welfare. It is barely rational that the housing market is subject to an uncontrolled market, with rents and mortgages inflated out of hand. The Society must build houses for its existing population, according to need and availability of resources. If the chaos being created by global warming and the general human footprint, is not very soon under control, we have a hard choice. To stabilise and reduce population in this and other countries, immigration must be stopped outright. This will also serve to protect cultural and racial diversity in the world, and not create a global race and lack of culture other than fashion.
