Ignorance as public policy...

Post by Peter Kropotkin »

as I have stated elsewhere, I believe that the right wing
practices ignorance as policy including public policy...

ask a conservative what they believe in, and it will be driven
by emotions... which leads them to support ignorance as
public policy... the right wing hates science....and would love
for science, (and philosophy for that matter) to go away...for
science undermines their own value system... (whereas science
supports my own value system)

the rightwing hates education and try's to limit it.... to the
three R's... reading, writing, rithmatic... or said another way,
conservatives only support education as far as creating workers,
nothing more..... the new speaker of the house, Mike Johnson,
has publicly stated that he hates Abortions because it prevents
new workers from being born...

he stated that ''Roe vs Wade gave constitutional cover to the elective
killing of the unborn children in America.... later he said...
that the implication of not having ''all those able-bodied workers
in the economy''...

the fact is that education free's people from their indoctrinations
and being uneducated means, one would be hard-pressed to escape
their indoctrinations....the base of the MAGA party is the uneducated..
and they are the one's driving the re-election of IQ45.. and they
are the ones who believe the lies about the 2020 election being stolen...

and being uneducated means one believes the lies about immigrants,
the inner city, the effects of BLM, the false prejudices that
drive the uneducated.... that blacks are inferior to whites
and women are better served being the property of men....

and ignorance will allow one to believe that America would
be better off without the institutions that allow our society/state
to work.... to defund the FBI or the Justice Department, or the IRS,
means that we are damaging ourselves in ways that we can't
even imagine...to defund the institutions of the America state
is to bring about the ''state of nature'' that is so pointed out
by Hobbes...it is the very institutions of America that allow
us to lead peaceful, civilized lives... in fact, it is in the institutions
of any state that allow them to survive and prosper....

why was Rome great? Because it was the most organized state
in Europe at the time...and that organization was the function
of the various institutions of Rome... Rome was great because the
Army was great, the institutions that build the infrastructure was great...
the roads and the Army and the ability to bring into Rome, the necessities
needed to maintain that society... the food and other necessities needed
to maintain the state/the society of Rome.... the greatness of Rome or
any other state for that matter, lies in the ability of the institutions
of that state/society to function.... the greater the state, the greater
institutions of that state.. it is the institutions of the state/society that
make a state/society great... America is great because of the many
governmental institutions that we have... and to destroy or defund those
institutions, is to destroy America itself...

but you wouldn't know that in the MAGA world because they
don't believe in knowledge or education... they believe in
ignorance as public policy... and every act they take is to
limit if not destroy the people's understanding of actions taken
or not taken....to limit people's knowledge is to make ignorance
public policy... to limit what can be learned in schools, is to limit
people knowledge.. or to make them ignorant of science, philosophy,
economics, history, social studies..... that is ignorance as public
policy.... to limit what people can learn in schools....
