damned dirty liars (cops)

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Lying to suspects is treating someone who is supposed to be presumed innocent as though they don't deserve the truth and cannot be ethical.

Indeed sir. It's not against the law for law enforcement to lie to a suspect, but it is against the law for a suspect to lie to a law enforcement agent.

Basically, just one more reason to have your lawyer talk to law enforcement. Acting as your own lawyer makes about as much sense as acting as your own doctor.

Whoever represents himself has a fool for a client, right? No, not always. In fact, I'd argue that all misdemeanor crimes and some felony crimes lack the complexity that would require the presence of a defense attorney while handling/trying the case. Not only that, half the time the defense attorney is conspiring behind closed doors with the prosecutor to get u to plead guilty and be in and out of the court ASAP, anyway, which means that u might very well be 'cheated' of a proper and committed defense by your attorney.

I would have saved myself a world of shit had i represented myself in 2010, so i have first hand experience of this nonsense.

And the typical inmate who couldn't make bail and sits in jail waiting to see his lawyer might see six months pass before he finally shows up. This is becuz the public defender's work load is enormous, and, if he lets u sit in jail for several months on a felony charge, you'll be so ready to get the fuck out of there you'll accept the first plea offer he throws at u after conspiring with the prosecutor and working a deal in which they both win; state gets its gulity verdict and the defender gets his defendant a plea 'bargain', which is a reduced sentence in exchange for pleading guilty.

So, first they over-charge u (three teenage hottie heartbreakers (well two) saw me wanking one time and i get charged with six felonies) so they can inflate the sentence you'll get if u don't accept the plea offer and decide to take it to trial. Then they send the public defender to tell u the state will ask for a four year sentence as opposed to the eight year sentence you'll get if you reject the offer and lose at trial. When, in fact, the one felony u actually are guilty of would get u a maximum of only two years.

Artificially inflate the sentence by stacking felonies > lower artificially inflated sentence in exchange for defendant pleading guilty.

The fourth and fifth planks of The Lichtenstein's Manifesto. Comrade Rosa writes:

"Fourth, the entire Judicial System would be dismantled, with every judge and lawyer sacked (except those that had supported the revolution) — and that includes the Supreme Court (Conservative and ‘Liberal’ Justices alike) —, replaced by workers’ tribunals.

Fifth, every single prison, jail and ‘detention center’ would be thrown open with all non-violent prisoners set free (violent or dangerous inmates held in humane camps until all their cases had been thoroughly reviewed)."

Btw i should state for the internet forum record that nothing i say (excepting her direct quotes) represents comrade RL's views, nor do i associate with her in any way online or in person. I want to make sure this is known so that my own seedy and unsettling character won't detract from anyone's interest or respect for RL.

Like I'm the kind of guy who wouldn't ever walk up to Rosa while she was having champagne and chatting in the ball room with other prestigious worker union members and marxist intellectuals becuz i wouldn't dare embarrass her like that.

Rather I'd be outside on the balcony with the other anarchists smoking weed and discussing whether or not stirner must be interpreted in a socialist sense, etc.

Edit: only many years ago did I ever interact with RL at the (now non-existent) Revleft forum. Debates and discussions on the forums and some minor tutoring in PMs. Yes I did receive special short term training from RL if u must know. Like when Uma went to train under that kung fu master with the long ass white beard he's always stroking.

Most of the time I just watched debate over Hegel's relevance while Nietzsche posting all over the place. I was tryna turn N into a leftist icon so I was drawing all kinds of parallels between anarchism and N even tho he spoke critically of anarchism. I was doin pretty good.

I always assumed Eggnog7 would be the first psychotic pseudo-philosopher from this site to get caught by the cops and prosecuted for all those rent boys he murders. Apparently Advocate will beat him to it. Did they lie about finding your DNA on a chainsaw?
