It depends on the glass. It could be distorted. It could be a mirror. There's lots of variables.

I don't understand what I am being asked to do.

Potentially ALL of the descriptions possible are "basic".

I don't know which basic description I should choose because I don't know why you are asking me to describe it.

What I'm asking is, how do you know there's any glass there, just from visual cues alone?

Since I can't see it, I just wanted to know what the pic was showing.

Then how do you know there was a pic?

Describe what you see.

My screenreader notifies me when there's an image embedded in the text.

I'm blind, by the way.

Sometimes people don't know, and end up walking into a pane of glass or glass door.

Usually glass is dusty or blemished, dirty, expected in buildings and windows. This is how most people know it's there.

Assuming it was clean, do people only perceive glass because of non-visual cues?

Yes, that's why I jumped on this thread.

Sorry, I assumed everyone knew. I've certainly never made a secret of it.

OK, but you are lying.

I wrote the text above using cyrillic letters which only LOOK like English leters.

Your "screenreader" wouldn't have translated those into English.

You fail the test.

Hmm well, all I can say is that JAWS is actually quite good at detecting fonts. Look it up.

That is so peculiar. JAWS supports Braille, does it not?

The above is written in Braille.
