Introduction formality

Post by Ben JS »

Hello, my name's Ben and I'm migrating from ILP.

Notable beliefs I hold:

Hard Determinism
Eternal Recurrence (ER)
Technological Utopianism
Existential Nihilism
Reincarnation (rooted in ER)
Karma (rooted in ER)
Love as the highest ideal (rooted in Karma)
Existence is eternal (no start or end)

These are probably the primary ones.

As for personal life details: they're likely even less interesting to you than my beliefs.

This introduction is an indirect request at approval.
My hope for this forum is to engage in respectful, interesting and constructive discussions.
If anyone can't muster courtesy, I'd recommend ignoring me as I'll likely be doing this inversely.

Kind regards

Who do you think you are just turning up here recommending things? Had you bothered to read the forum rules, you would have know that one has to have been a member for five years before one is allowed to recommend anything.

Courtesy, indeed! Whatever next? :|

ILP format doesn't have room for serious philosophy, as i've argued with Cezary many times. He's all in on his platform and ignores that similar things have been done over and over and have gone nowhere.
