I forced myself from sleep this morning in order to write. I wrote for an hour or so nothing major when I realized that animal’s appetite for another is needed even though an unpleasant feeling is needed, i not very happy relationship but a necessary one. The unhappier animal feels the higher feeling .

Feeling is a state of tension with outside world we stand over against. We sentient creatures are self determined in particular ways just as the tiger at the sight of the antelope awakens a desire for the antelope is a need not a choice. Every animal has a restricted sphere, its own intimate complex environment. Look at hawk and the sight of a mouse. There are even particular insects whose nature is restricted to particular plants, such as lilies, willows, and fig trees.

We sleep out of instinct, the same is true of waking also we gather food for survival. A practical realistic relationship; the migration of animals, of fishes, or sleep, one falls asleep without setting about doing so are all knowledge acquired before we were born, or at least the instant of birth. Not jut knowledge stamped with the name essential but beauty, goodness, justice, and belief.

That is why knowledge is called recollection. When I perceive something there is no difficulty recalling something like it or unlike it? Therefore it follows we had knowledge before or at birth, and continue to know throughout life and after. Those who are said to know only recall. Feelings can never assure anything if knowledge does not intervene. . As Minerva fully armed springs forth from the head of Jupiter knowledge alone is capable of assuring her what she sees is good.

It is astonishing to me to think that we have knowledge before birth then knowledge is recovering what we previously known. Knowledge is a process of recovery is rightly termed memory.

Then in order to recognize something either by the help of sight or hearing or other senses knowledge something like it or unlike must be recalled.

Look at the knowledge of life on earth, the change of the seasons and of the day and night and the transition from waking and sleeping. How the sun express a whirl into a different direction to avoid unity moves to get away from its immediate existence into something beyond from the immediate circumstances. The sun is always on the point of dispersing into infinity; escapes unity with other but it cannot escape remains restlessly imprisoned.

How earth rotates around the sun dependent on both sun and moon is a syllogism everything is in this entirety. Socrates believed everyone had better be ruled by knowledge dwelling within in order so that we may be all as far as possible under the same laws, friends and equals.

Self inner continuity through and through immaterial becomes material by this silent activity that sets forth without action, shapes and links together all parts. Inner self is like crystallization the essential inner that comes forward with imperturbable truth.

If self maintained in pureness would pass into sunlight. But self is mere self-consciousness an empty uncertainty that produces merely an attitude and reflection of self. Pure inner self is ego or in other words Inner essence passing hither and thither in which truth lies.

Here we enter into the sphere of reflection into self in face of outside determinates, self-reflection into self. Self pervades the whole Godly like relation between inner and outer. Much like the crystal nucleus molecules integrants attach themselves to the surface of the nucleus in a kind of successive array in which depends on this series.

Thus nucleus crystals are a three dimensional whole inner essence is ideal principle that pervades the whole inner and outer like the crystal nucleus molecule integrants the nucleus in a kind of successive array.

The Ego which is opposed to outside and, at the same time inner region of understanding-these are no longer present as substantial elements but moments of self-consciousness, i.e. differences, which are at the same time purely vanishing entities.

Therefore, to the fuller sense of self is obtained when the self is aware of self in relation to outside. Self-consciousness much like the crystal nucleus lets the molecules integrants attach themselves to the surface of the nucleus in a kind of successive array in which depends on series. These nucleus crystals are three-dimensional whole. Hauy a French mineralogist expounded the law of crystallization. Hauy believed the universe is an ordered and harmonious whole, partly free and partly conditioned, the perfect cosmos.

Here recognize the sweetness of learning. embrace knowledge. Freethinking is pure learning and is the ultimate absolute reason we are in this forum, here there can be nothing so remote that you cannot reason.

To the philosopher knowledge raises a pang of emotion regards it worthy of. affection. The mind rightly educated will recognize and salute noble and good spirit of philosophy,

For if by sight unity could be adequately perceived or by any of the other senses, but when there is some contradiction, 'what is unity? This is knowledge possessed by every one, offered to everyone, and made plain for all.

Truth is the highest principle goes beyond mere consciousness as an astonishing phenomenon because you feel truth. Look at things as they really are the power and capacity of gaining knowledge and understanding exists in mind already, all those images that dwell in mind are imprinted.

Therefore whenever perceiving anything, either by the help of sight or hearing, or any of the other senses, knowledge must be there of some other thing like it or unlike it. That is why Socrates carried out the command of the God of knowledge "Know Thyself" look in self at what is truth, knowledge exists only by being acknowledged or known.

How astonishing to me to think that I knew before my birth and by the use of my senses recover what I previously knew. Then knowledge is a process of recovering may be rightly termed recollection?

Those who know only remember. Therefore I continue to have knowledge throughout my life. I have a very strict rule for each day in which each hour had reason. The morning directly after rising was set aside for recalling to memory the history of my previous day because what is to be done in the day depends chiefly on the previous day. My reason was to find out whether the deeds in the day were done and if they were right or wrong.
In order to act one must have beforehand knowledge, not just the process coming to be consciousness, a merely intrinsic straightaway whatever the circumstance but knowledge the means, or end, and proceeds to act. In the center between knowledge and truth is reason, a centrality between what we see hear or perceive their must be reason, without it memory lost which once was.

We sentient creature can show outwardly our feelings; we emit sound, when in pain, need, hunger, repletion, pleasure, joyfulness. Even when in heat horses neigh, insects hum, cats purr the voice of the bird when it launches forth in song. Birds soar freely in the air; separated from the heaviness of the earth, utter self-feelings

Socrates thought what rules self is knowledge. The object of knowledge is thought, for example, the knowledge of house building is termed architecture is called the rational principle of self, whereas the other principle of self may be termed the ally of pleasures and satisfactions.

Then there are two principles.

Socrates told, as an example, in order to explain these two principles of self The story is a about Leontius, the son of Aglaion, coming up one day from the Piraeus, under the north wall on the outside, observed some dead bodies lying on the ground at the place of execution. He felt a desire to see them, and also a dread and abhorrence of them; for a time he struggled and covered his eyes, but at length the desire got the better of him; and forcing them open, he ran up to the dead bodies, saying, Look, ye wretches, take your fill of the fair sight.

Homer who quoted another example of the two principles of self "He smote his breast, and thus rebuked his soul," for in his verse has clearly Homer supposed reason is different from anger.

The message is that anger at times goes to war with reason as though they were distinct.

The inward person, which is the true self sets in order inner life, and mastery, principles, and peace; and when these are bound together become one entire temperate and perfectly adjusted proceeds to act harmonious just and good and wise.

Open-mindedness is pure knowledge and because pure knowledge is the ultimate absolute reason we are here there can be nothing so remote that we cannot reason.

We must quit our feelings in order to behold reason : impossible I know we are in company with self feeling means unfortunately we cannot have pure knowledge f reason. But, we can make the best the nearest approach to it when we are not entrenched with feelings.

There is no other method of comprehending or of determining this knowledge. All arts and sciences and intelligences use it in common, for example, every one has to know the little matter of distinguishing one, two, and three. Reason has the power to drive the mind out of the sea of feeling, rise it to the very light of the world. Let others try as much as they like to get along without reason

What we do and what happens has reason. Talent is the content of reason does not go beyond that but if seeking to bring piurpose into actuality we must think away feelings or there can never being an end to reason or we rely on chance accident.

Courage under all circumstances, under the influence of want or fear is the mightiest of all other virtues; preserves and does not lose bravery.

Now justice there is no path, very little light and perplexed we go around looking for it when we have justice in our hands not far off in the distance that we miss it.

Justice is the only virtue which remains in a society when all the other virtues temperance and courage and wisdom have disappeared.

Justice is the ultimate cause and being of all of the other virtues imparts harmony and friendship; clearly is wiser and better and abler than injustice, which creates division and hatred and fighting,

When a carpenter becomes rich no longer takes the same pains with carpentry grows more and more indolent and careless from being rich. However on the other side the carpenter if has no money cannot provide tools or instruments its carpentry like the rich too declines.
Then there seems to be two causes of the decline of the carpenters art, it is wealth and poverty, under the influence either the carpenter’s art is liable to worsen. Wealth and poverty one breed’s idleness, and the other of inadequacy both causes discontent.

Every art by which the end is accomplished has brilliance and good and in the end happiness. Justice then is by which happiness is attained is concerned not with the outward but with the inward person. Socrates compares this to the higher, lower, and middle notes of the scale that it co-operates with harmonious condition.

The element of sound reveals the intriguing state, when a body sounds it enters into a higher sphere to which self bears witness in the face of outside. In a conscious awaken state there is immediate reflection into self; it is called sensibility that differentiates self from the outside forces. Self-consciousness gets satisfaction maintaining a genuine self-contentment; a satisfaction within self is a transformation.

Fix your mind on what has disquieted society today; it has become the task of we lovers of knowledge to reawaken mind spirit. All language is the greatest of heaven's blessings, the affections and actions of the mind. This is the art of disputation the same in every use of language; Language is an art, not words thrown down anyhow, not words that come to mind, as mere opinion, and having no reason in them.

A living adapted language of all generations. Language by using the right application of words implants conviction Thrasymachus believed language to be easy or hard by showing how one mind is persuaded by a particular form of argument and another not persuaded.

Protagorus thought the true way to knowledge was through conversation, discussion, asking and answering, beating a subject up and down. Thrasymachus described the nature of language to be easy or hard by showing how one mind is persuaded by a particular argument and another persuaded not.

Ethics is regulated by words, by character of the mind, temper, love of beauty, harmony, grace, good and rhythm. Ethics depends on an ordered mind. That is ethics to do our labor in life with grace and harmony must be a continuous aim.

The true nature of the beauty and grace; and good in everything shall flow, like a gentle wind from a purer region, into likeness with reason.

Therefore musical training is a more effective instrument into the inward places of the mind, because rhythm and harmony find their way imparting grace, and good when reason comes we will recognize and salute it.

Socrates believed just as learning to read, be everywhere eager to make words known. Only when we know the letters exactly can we ever become musical and know the essential forms of temperance, courage, liberality, magnificence, and their kindred when a beautiful mind harmonizes with the fairest of sights to the philosopher who has an eye to see it.

The fairest is also the loveliest they have the spirit of harmony. Ethics pathway of consciousness pressing forward to true knowledge and clearness of spiritual complete experience of self arrives at the knowledge of self.

And I think Pythagoras would wholeheartedly agree with you.

Hello John.

Pythagoras was so greatly loved by his followers for his wisdom; to this day they celebrate his order named after him.

The life of Pythagoras are intermingled many marvelous and extravagant tales. His first followers began in Italy in and around 530 B.C. Apart from the many fables there remains in history his great work. Egypt was regarded as a highly cultured country. Pythagoras from Egypt no doubt, he brought the idea of regular community brought together for purposes of scientific and moral culture. He was the first instructor in Greece who introduced the teachings of science: He died some historians’ say a lengthy life some say 104 years old.

The phenomena of science’s wisdom, insight, understanding, and observation can only be grasped through theory, because of the perpetual actions of life; wherever there is inner and outer, cause and effect, and means subjectivity-objectivity there is life

It is knowledge that comes on the scene liberates consciousness presses forward to truth and spiritual awareness. Follow knowledge and produce truth lodged in the mind as a pilot.

Truth demonstrates the course of reason. What is truth but objective reality, in other words, assurance of being? Not just a belief of one self but the bare and simple truth. The idea of reason falls into such a contradiction reality comes directly before it.

Know thy self is the beginning element of reason this is pure knowing and because pure knowing is absolute truth reason skillfully disposed to render them clear and intelligible, not as mere rhetoric or precise science but contributing to the advancement of knowledge we ought to follow.

Come visualize from the standpoint of knowledge a constructive deductive rational way of observing things that are all in order moving toward knowledge and truth, which will make us wiser.

Everybody has purpose an inner working and weaving within but it has no real distinguishing science; it is just pure ideality, merely implicit thinking within self, yet purpose has an actual pure truth.

Rise above the senses; we are so accustomed to considering mere imagines that do not give us truth. We persuade ourselves there is difficulty in learning but here we can make the nearest approach to it.

Knowledge demands in the first place a willingness to exalt profound purpose that may be regarded the prima facie of modern times.

Here holds reason what will be the consequence or in other words, supposing anything to be or not to be we must look at the consequences.

Purpose is the absolute end of everything but it is preyed upon, shoved against by doubt, that road of unthinking sluggishness purpose agitates doubt, disturbs its laziness.
The power of reason distinguishes truth from error. Truth can only be seen through a glass dimly, whereas reason takes that glass dimly turns around into a definite look. World spirit comes into being in reason, it makes one aware of its extremities, proclaims certainty and assurance of each true being.

In every self-conscious reason appears the first positive character which self-consciousness is aware, pure inner essence of bare and simple truth.
Everyone had better have divine reason dwelling within them that rules them is the mechanical sphere called the theoretical process that determines logically how to distinguish things.

Purpose agitates thoughtlessness; it disturbs its idleness and we suffer at the hands of reason. It is the ruin and overthrow of individuality therefore the road looks uncertain, or more properly desolate.

Purpose rest upon the actual carrying out following a passion is more than belief, which proceeds straight away to criticize, thus hampers your passion, as a matter of fact, makes you powerless of what you want to undertake. Purpose lies in this function of distinguishing and establishing self; consists in the bringing about specific self-characteristic.

Passion is an empty content that seeks to be actualized but it is also, the ruin and overthrow of self; reason is its content is a mean not the active pursuit.

As a child we knew nothing, and not knowing anything start with a clean slate. We accepted anything at all given to us until knowledge gentle hand came to aid us and lift our mind up to understanding.

In every mind there is a purpose that sometimes is oppressed by want, or hard driven by nature gets lost entangled in sensuous aims but can be re-illuminated,

Socrates determined in a society with a view to good that there should be no friendship among the unpleasant and that there shall ever be friendship among the good; and that the people are most likely to find happiness.

Knowledge leads to order and reason and frees the virtuous elements of happiness; now is there any greater blessing than friendship and pleasure burst with love.
