One could also abuse inductive reasoning by saying that because this particular terrorist was a man who wore dresses, wore makeup, sucked in his cheeks for selfies, worked at a minimum wage job yet had plenty o’ money for expensive weapons and ammo*, and generally looked like a cartel butt-boy … that this is true of all who commit acts of terror.
Interesting that The Dictionary’s definition of “terrorist,” is conditioned on politics. That doesn’t seem right. What seems right is, a terrorist is someone who acts with the intent to inflict terror upon victims and survivors, for whatever reason.
Not that such an act is "right," but rather, that seems like the right definition of "terrorist."

Re: America has completely lost the plot.
When dealing with intelligent folks, ignorance in thought and action is no defense of half-baked notions.
In a death culture that accepts 60 million abortions, there’s going to be occasional, gullible whackos who buy into the notion that life is worthless, and act on it.
Has America completely lost the plot because of this?
No.
However, Hollywood and politicians and Leftist media outlets still have a lot of try.
That's because America haters lap it up ... the trying.

Re: America has completely lost the plot.
- To wake yourself up, you should do an objective analysis of statistics and how they are formed.
- I will not do that for you.
Back to your erroneous premise, that America has completely lost the plot ...
- The policy in America is to immediately neutralize a school killer *, by any means necessary, whether or not orders have been issued as to how that should be done.
- That policy was corrupted, as were other policies, such as keeping the damn doors locked.
- When the actions that corrupted the policy, and the state of mind that caused the corruption, become policy ...
... then you can say that America has lost its way, and you will still not be correct.
- When the Death Cult bypassed the legislative process and made abortion into law, that still was not enough to make "completely," a legitimate part of your premise.
* which is not someone who kills schools, but someone who kills life, in schools.
Re: America has completely lost the plot.
For instance, the state of mind that encourages corruption is perpetually evident in Brandon.
He lies all the time, thus corrupting Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
But I figure many folks know that, even if elections continue to be rigged and thus, stolen.

Re: America has completely lost the plot.
Back when fictional drama was produced by Hollywood, as opposed to “Reality TV,” as it’s so-called, there used to be a TV show in America called, Hill Street Blues.
Each episode began with cops meeting for their daily news and assignments, and at the end of each show, the wise, elderly Sergeant who was wise in the ways of the street, would advice the brave, strong, young men and women (I think they depicted women as cops in those days but that could use a fact check), these brave folks in blue were told to go home safe at the end of the day. Or, that was the gist of what they were told as a last message … you know, because “we may never meet again.”
This raises an important question.
When does the police slogan, “Protect and Serve,” trump “going home safe at the end of the day?”
In other words, what constitutional right do cops have, to go home safe every day?
Answer, none.
Cops are a role in society, put in place to exist, so that citizens do not have to assume that role.
That role is not put into place so that the individual cop can go home safe at the end of the day.
This gives rise to the question … whose interests are being protected, and served?
However, the observation that relates more directly to philosophy, because it is epistemological, is …
... A whole generation of developing minds looked forward to the next episode of Hill Street Blues every week, and reruns of favourite shows in the summertime ... because home recording wasn't widespread.
Repeatedly, dramatically, the message was reinforced to the little children inspired to be future cops …
Go home safe at the end of your day.
Little kids in Takesus watched TV, too.
This raises the implicit, and thus unstated, question.

Re: America has completely lost the plot.
Funny.
You'd rather brush off the multiple murder of children, to avoid some basic rules about gun ownership, and I AM the one with a sick mind?
Re: America has completely lost the plot.
Invalid projections are variations of your dull, tired theme.
*
The Basic Rule of Gun Ownership
When guns are outlawed, only outlaws have guns.
(The elite do make exceptions for their bodyguards)
“I do hail from Reata Pass, which is in the county of San Saba, being the which-a-why the San Saba Songbird is my sobriquet of preference. But right now, I’d appreciate it if you deposit your weapon in the receptacle by the swinging doors, which concealing of it on your person in the first place was a violation of the rules of this establishment, and an offense against local norms.”

Re: America has completely lost the plot.
This is a fallacious argument.
First is because writing tech was already way ahead of the quill, and because, there are restrictions on some forms of communications despite the 1st amendment.
And in exactly the same way that you cannot own a nuclear weapon, the question is not about restricting your right to bear arms as such but which arms you should legitimately be allowed to have and under what circumstances.
I doubt you are part of a militia. This means that you already have more rights that was intended by the 2nd amendment.
But the biggest point that you are too plug ugly stupid to realise is the constitutional rights are not indelible. Criminals already have their constitutional rights restricted, and there are several proscribed instances where the 1st amendments rights can be lost. Ask Julien Assange and Chelsie Manning,
So do not be a dick.
You live in a democracy, supposedly, and the majority want there to be more gums laws, such as a licensing and registration scheme that would make it easier to stop known criminals, or mental cases from carrying arms.
Democracy trumps the constitution, and amendment can be unamended.
I love to take you weapons out of your cold dead hands. My dog can eat your balls at the same time for all I care.

if my memory serves one of the 911 planes was hijacked with a box cutter. this will get worse, and gov. will use this to gain more control of law abiding citizen in the name of their safety
the police should have give their guns to the parents if they were to afraid. then they wouldn't have to control anyone.
