Not really. All her lil clip illustrates is what is obvious: each and everyone of us gets to choose, wisely or poorly, wrongly or rightly. This is how it works. Risk is inherent. If the fellow not wearin' a mask, or the waiter who mebbe sneezed all over your pasta, is a worry to you: stay the hell home, prepare your own meals.
Defend yourself: that's your goddamned job.
But do you not think there would be a lot of deaths from starvation due to nobody going out driving the trucks that distribute food around the country?
Good point!
If everyone adopted the dumbed-down simple intellectually compromised mentality and stayed at home in a defiant bid to serve their own selfish interest of defending it's liberties. Then human societies would collapse. Luckily, there are some intelligent human beings out there who are able to see the bigger picture.
As for the ones who choose to 'kick against the pricks' ...they deserve everything they wish for, namely, disfunction, lawlessness, disorder, disease and ultimately their own death.

So you are a hermit who lives in some wilderness, defending yourself against the predator, hunting and growing your own food, attending to your own cuts and broken bones, mending your own guns and eventually running out of ammo and having to invent traps, building your own shelter, and wearing textiles you have hunted or woven all by yourself.

I have no clue where any of this is comin' from, B, or what it has to do with my recents posts in-thread.

I mean you probably cannot live for long independently of others who are organised into dependence on each other.

That may or may not be true...either way, it has nuthin' to do with my response to your assessment of sculptor's pic-post, up-thread.

Good one, Sculptor!

I agree: defending self is job 1 for every living creature when no longer protected, eg by its parents.
I agree: the narrative only reveals what is obvious—that management and employer have shirked their responsibility to set and ensure standards.
Once cases of food poisoning are traced to Freedom Cafe, customer satisfaction and Yelp reviews will take a dive, profits will take a hit, staff will be terminated from employment, managers will be let go and owners will file for bankruptcy.
But staff members are free to choose how to protect themselves, Evan if it means being a menace to diners. Even if it means applying for unemployment benefits.

Not a time to fall in love. More of a time to save on mouthwash.
Thought is a powerful thing. If we think we are free we are free. If we think we are not free we are not free. "As a man thinks in his heart so is he".
If we understood the laws of magnetism we might find out that certain emotions attract certain things. It could be that to be fearful attracts what is feared.
There is the story of the god that guaranteed that only so many in a certain place would die of a plague. He was challenged when double that amount died. When asked he replied that he spoke truly, the amount he said would die of the plague did die. The rest died of fear of the plague.

You are never free, because you have never been incarcerated.
What is fearful about right now unless you think about it.
