A successful assassination but Hitler seemed preternaturally lucky in avoiding one. Still if one had succeeded doesn't mean that facism would have stopped. Göring would likely have succeeded him.

Probably people talking amongst themselves about the value of humanity rather than some piece of land they were born on that grew flags that made them all circumvent around its flagpole like sheeple.

Racial nationalism was one temptation that fostered the decline of Germany into Hitler fascism. How do we counter racial nationalism?

Take anti -Jewish sentiments for an instance of racial nationalism. Jews in Europe have since medieval times been viewed as other than native citizens and subjects of the King. When Germany became actually fascist Jews were scapegoats for social inequality and collapse of the national economy.

It follows that any regime should sort problems of national economy as well as can be during these days of covid, and climate change. And also regimes need to make it obvious that all are equally blessed with whatever goods and services are available.

It's your right to do so.
Respect is nothing if it isn't mutual. Out of respect, I have answered every question you have pressed me on. Now I am pressing you on this:

Both you and Walker have cited references to a study that allegedly shows how some sizeable number of people, with no access to Fox et al, would have changed the outcome of the election. Your case would be much stronger, if you could show the results of the study in question.

No probs.

“One of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%) said they would have abandoned the Democratic candidate had they known the facts about one or more of these news stories. A shift of this magnitude would have changed the outcome in all six of the swing states won by Joe Biden, and Donald Trump would have comfortably won a second term as president,” said the MRC, which has been documenting and exposing liberal media bias for the last 33 years." (Media Research Centre)

So you're now going to say, "Well, the MRC is conservative, so I don't have to listen to them." That's merely a form of genetic fallacy or ad hominem, though, since you cannot know the truth or falsehood of a statistic by insulting the source. What you can do, rationally, is check and confirm.

Besides, the liberal-biased organizations, you have already informed us, cannot be expected to provide the public with information, as they will only play to their biases, you say, which is just fine with you, you say. So there WILL BE no liberal organizations that report a fact like this, since you regard their partisanship as normal.

That's a good question. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't think of any. In the "land of the free," it seems to be the case that people are free to think and do just about anything that isn't illegal, and making nationalism illegal probably wouldn't go over very well. Racism (in the form of economic discrimination) is illegal but there's friction against that as well.

Enforcement is a critical element here. With it, bigots will have to behave, publicly anyway.

It already is. True "hate speech" is rightly called "incitement to violence," and one can be charged for it.

But the term "hate speech" itself is just dangerous nonsense. The Left uses it to mean, "Speech that doesn't not conform to our wishes." So they say "hate speech" is casting doubt on the 72 alleged genders, or speaking against the Socialists, or standing against the murder of babies, and so on.

Put that tool in the despot's hands, and he will surely use it.

By understanding that the concept of race is a myth, nothing more than a label that started as a pejorative and continues without interruption. It was meant to segregate that which cannot be segregated, at least not on any scientific basis. In that sense racial nationalism expresses nothing more except a supreme prejudice in the form of an oxymoron. That which separates peoples in time and place is based much more on culture than anything racial.

I used to say the same as you said .However to uproot the lie of genetic race would need a huge programme of education or indoctrination that would be quite impractical.

The matter is so urgent that what is needed is a democratically- elected government that makes racial hate via speech or action illegal and an honest police force to enforce the law.

That is difficult to do. I went on to the MRC website and entered both 'hunter biden laptop' and 'One of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%)' into the search bar. In both cases I was asked whether rather than Biden, I meant 'laden'. I couldn't find the original survey, so I have no idea about the sample or how the survey was conducted; there is therefore no way of telling whether the results are statistically meaningful, or even whether the "One of every six" claim is simply among the 78% of statistics that are made up on the spot.

You either misunderstand or are deliberately misrepresenting what I have said. In my view it is not only "liberal-biased organizations" who will play to their bases, it is organisations of all political colours. This only becomes a problem at the fringes where, for instance, even Adolf Hitler was a leftist. The goal of extremists is to make their audience believe everything they say and to treat any criticism as an existential threat. It may be that MRC did a well conducted survey which accurately produced the results they claim; that they make finding such a survey so difficult should make anyone sceptical. Properly conducted surveys take time and money, which is often wasted since accurate surveys don't reliably produce the results you want, a bit like elections. It is quicker and easier simply to ask the people in the office, or just pluck a figure from the aether knowing full well that the people you are interested in will treat it as a fact; as in: "So there WILL BE no liberal organizations that report a fact like this."
Have you seen the survey? If so, could you direct me to it?
