Take you word for it but as a poem its not. But the 'rabbit dance' was great, it gave me the 'thumper-feet' feeling all-over, whereas the 'cocktails' were not needed, imo.

your probably right about that  i just think that phrase is interesting.

i'm glad you liked the rabbit dance. i thought i could've improved upon it more, however, that is for sure:)

last night after posting to mystic about my life philosophy etc., i went outside on my back steps to have a cigarette and was sort of thinking about it still, and a rabbit hopped up very close, exactly where i was imagining him in the rabbit poem i wrote and posted here days before. except that in the poem it was daylight with sun, and this in reality was at night in the dark. i could barely see him. but he sat there looking at me in the same spot. for quite awhile. then, he hopped off. exactly through the area of my yard i was envisioning while i wrote that poem days before.

i thought that was funny:)

Look forward too it, but I think not :)

Maybe synchronicity, as it involved a 'laugh', but my guess is that the poem occurred over multiple viewings of rabbits.

I loved the poem as well...it actually had me dancing! Weird how seeing words on a page can do that...isn't it?

I've written this song today as a criticism of my society and it's many "Kings"! It's to be added to my website under "Creative". Here it is:

Tittel: Det Kriminelle Norge - Hyllest til Black Debbath
(Title: The Criminal Norway - Tribute to Black Debbath (transl. Black Debate, loosely, can also play on the dipping of children into the iron cauldron, a bath), a Norwegian band)
Notat: Det er meningen at denne sangen skal synges på norsk slik som Black Debbaths vokalist synger sangene
(Note: It's the intention that this song is to be sung in Norwegian like the lead singer of Black Debbath sings the songs)

Det kriminelle Norge vil ha verden i dets hand
(The criminal Norway wants the world in its hand)

Og det gjør vi ved tortur av barn og menneskehandel!
(And we do that by torturing our children and human trafficking)

Våres praksis er mer korrupsjon enn profesjon!
(Our practice is more corruption than profession!)

Det kriminelle Norge vil ha verden i dets hand
(The criminal Norway wants the world in its hand)

Våre lover og vårt demokrati er bare formalitet!
(Our laws and our democracy is just formality!)

Det kriminelle Norge vil ha verden i dets hand
(The criminal Norway wants the world in its hand)

Og kjøper vi ikke verden, dere tullinger, med vårt kriminalitetsfremmende oljefond?!!
(And don't we buy the world, you fools, with our crime promoting oil fund?!!)

Det kriminelle Norge vil ha verden i dets hand
(The criminal Norway wants the world in its hand)

Slutt (for nå)
End (for now)

(Det er mulig jeg skriver mer på denne sangen!)
(It's possible I write more on this song!)

An example of Black Debbath performance:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1fdFzLn6VY Mongo in Norwegian is a scornful remark alluding to an idiot/dumbass and in the past also to people with Down's Sydrome because of their facial features in similarity to the people of Mongolia. Even though he's singing smuget means danger in Norwegian, it's actual meaning is back alley (assumably where dirty things take place). Mongo Norway (A Guide To Nightlife In Oslo) is the title of the song and Smuget is a former pub/nightclub in Oslo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxfztPJY ... re=related
(There are many more, just search for the band name.)

What do you think?

More, something underlying the text, although being rather crude:
Suggestion for a New Norwegian Flag!
Image
The cross can be kept as the fine symbol for the lunatic's refuge of putting their sins on their (personal) Jesus Christ. Black is for corruption, red is for blood and torture and blue is for depths of the lunatics' mentality. Cheers! I hope it will become official really soon so that it better represents what Norway is and stands for.

In the eyes of others

I do or do not do,
In the eyes of others.
I do not care what I do or do not do,
In the eyes of others.
I am or am not,
In the eyes of others.
I do not care what I am or am not,
In the eyes of others.
It is not that I do not care about the others.
It is just that I want them to be free,
not constrained by the eyes of me.
And that is why when I say this
and am met with incomprehension,
it is met with my own;
and I do not care.

Anderson Cooper spoke unscripted following the Katrina disaster of New Orleans.
He spoke candidly asking “where is the help?”
Following his coverage of Katrina he became a symbol of man-in-the-street honest reporting in the notoriously shrill-filled-ranks of US media broadcasting.
The public glimpsed the real inside the fabricated.
And so, he was given his own show.

The Bare Necessities.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

Now when you pick a pawpaw
Or a prickly pear
And you p**** a raw paw
Next time beware
Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear
Try to use the claw
But you don't need to use the claw
When you pick a pear of the big pawpaw
Have I given you a clue ?

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

So just try and relax, yeah cool it
Fall apart in my backyard
'Cause let me tell you something little britches
If you act like that bee acts, uh uh
You're working too hard

And don't spend your time lookin' around
For something you want that can't be found
When you find out you can live without it
And go along not thinkin' about it
I'll tell you something true

The bare necessities of life will come to you

Baloo the philosopher bear.

Drowning FAIL...

You are so big.

You are everywhere.

And I am here.

Why can’t I just let me drown? Drown into you.

I want to conquer.

And I want to fight.

Why can’t I stop fighting?

And there is no end…

And it’s all real when I drown.

And it’s into me. Into you.

To Arising_uk: Thanks for the Bare Necessities lyrics! I only had the first verse or to, to go with my piano accompaniment.

Another set of lyrics that are quite philosophical:

Life is just a bowl of cherries.
Don't make it serious -- life's too mysterious.
You work, you save, you worry so,
but you can't take your dough
when you go-o-o-oh.

So just keep repeatin', "It's the berries."
For the strongest oak must fall.
The sweet things in life to you are just loaned,
so how can you lose what you never owned?

Oh, life is just a bowl of cherries,
so live and laugh at it all.

Well done, Mike Strand!

Here's my contribution for this day:
(Not a poem, but a warning first.)
To the Youth - A Warning About Corruption and Decadence with the Older People
This is about the twisted immorality with those who are older than you and that from a starting point includes myself. I'd like to say that a good start for youth from this day is to be sceptical and inquiring to what those older, those of greater age than you, say. So if claims are uttered then I'd investigate them if I'm to be you. I'd first like to warn about what's usually said about law and order, possibly, since it applies to "rightful" Norway. There is just a lot of corruption! You can expect attempts to be bribed/extortioned for all kinds of stupid and valuable issues, maybe money, but rather first and foremost a bit more subtle services that one will say incite/inflame hate and immorality, most likely against a person or people they have in their eyes, but may be hurtful/injuring to yourselves/yourself. Don't think that the laws are uncontested because they are NOT! It's not always that the Police do their work and it's not always that lawyers/solicitors, journalists and others do their work either. I simply don't know how this can be solved, but I can assure you that good routines and a good deal of attention around personal safety/security and of own moral guarantee you a better life/lives or that it will make it evident what I write here.

Beware or it will cost you bloody much! I think, of course, that when you first read this, you've come to the right place for many warnings and may be frightened already, but this is and will be the only that will be written on this issue, you, the youth! I only give this warning once, 1 time! Here you are, please! (Ignorance will not carry you far!)

Then the poems -
Til Ungdommen - To the Youth
av Nordahl Grieg - by Nordahl Grieg
Translation is by Rod Sinclair (2004)

Kringsatt av Fiender, - Faced by your enemies
gå inn i din tid! - On every hand
Under en blodig storm - Battle is menacing,
vi deg til strid! - Now make your stand

Kanskje du spør i angst, - Fearful your question,
udekket, åpen: - Defenceless, open
hva skal jeg kjempe med - What shall I fight with?
hva er mitt våpen? - What is my weapon?

Her er ditt vern mot vold, - Here is your battle plan,
her er ditt sverd: - Here is your shield
troen på livet vårt, - Faith in this life of ours,
menneskets verd. - The common weal

For all vår fremtids skyld, - For all our children’s sake,
søk det og dyrk det, - Save it, defend it,
dø om du må - men: - Pay any price you must,
øk det og styrk det! - They shall not end it

Stilt går granatenes - Neat stacks of cannon shells,
glidende bånd - Row upon row
Stans deres drift mot død - Death to the life you love,
stans dem med ånd! - All that you know

Krig er forakt for liv. - War is contempt for life,
Fred er å skape. - Peace is creation
Kast dine krefter inn: - Death’s march is halted
døden skal tape! - By determination

Elsk og berik med drøm - We all deserve the world,
alt stort som var! - Harvest and seed
Gå mot det ukjente - Hunger and poverty
fravrist det svar. - Are born of greed

Ubygde kraftverker, - Don’t turn your face away
ukjente stjerner. - From needs of others
Skap dem, med skånet livs - Reach out a helping hand
dristige hjerner! - To all your brothers

Edelt er mennesket, - Here is our solemn vow,
jorden er rik! - From land to land
Finnes her nød og sult - We will protect our world
skyldes det svik. - From tyrants’ hand

Knus det! I livets navn
skal urett falle.
Solskinn og brød og ånd
eies av alle.

Da synker våpnene
maktesløs ned!
Skaper vi menneskeverd
skaper vi fred.

Den som med høyre arm
bærer en byrde,
dyr og umistelig,
kan ikke myrde.

Dette er løftet vårt
fra bror til bror:
vi vil bli gode mot
menskenes jord.

Vi vil ta vare på - Defend the beautiful,
skjønnheten, varmen - Gentle and innocent
som om vi bar et barn - Like any mother would
varsomt på armen! - Care for her infant.
