Hi there!
Hi there! I’m not really a mystic, I just have some strange thoughts and ideas from time to time, and I was looking for an interesting forum with people who like to keep it real. For example, I believe we create our own reality from our thoughts and actions. Not a simple thing to discuss on many forums.
I look forward to sharing some of my wilder ideas with you.

Re: Hi there!
Hello MysticRose, and welcome.
I agree with your thought. Our thoughts and actions are the things that we remember and so they compose our personality which in turn determines our perception of the outside world.
According to an Indian legend a cheerful dog entered a palace with a thousand mirrors and went out again with the conviction that everyone was cheerful. An aggressive dog entered and left with the conviction that everyone was showing teeth. Two different realities.

Re: Hi there!
In which case, shall I assume that you are beautiful (by common local standards), are unaffected by gravity, in perfect health, have 'true' friends and lovers, are wealthy, never having to work or do that which is unpleasant? This would surely support your 'belief', no? Proof in the pudding and all...MysticRose wrote:I believe we create our own reality from our thoughts and actions.
All the vain "I am god" people usually start stumbling and fumbling when faced with these questions. Then come the excuses... Anything different here?
Welcome.

Re: Hi there!
If we create our reality through thoughts and actions then those with bad realities have bad thoughts and deserve them.
Its simple, nameless, and your insistence that those with no jobs might actually be willing themselves to have jobs and doing the best they can about it, or that those with no food may actually be thinking "I want some food" and doing all that they can with their meagre resources is mischievious and, I suspect, disingenuous
Nice to meet you MysticRose
(I'm not taking the piss just having a bit of fun)

Great, tell me how simple it is.Psychonaut wrote: Its simple, nameless,
I don't recall "insisting" anything. Care to link me?and your insistence
Sounds like more of those 'excuses' that I mentioned.that those with no jobs might actually be willing themselves to have jobs and doing the best they can about it, or that those with no food may actually be thinking "I want some food" and doing all that they can with their meagre resources is mischievious
It wasn't me claimimg 'god status'.
(I do tend to do 'mischief' to BS, though)
If you can 'think/will' yourself into a job, you can 'think/will' yourself a pile of money as well.
It's "simply" a case of put up or shut up. All those (vain) claims of 'godhood' can easily be supported by evidence, as I suggested.... or not.

I was being tongue in cheek mucker.

Whats a "cheek mucker"?Psychonaut wrote:I was being tongue in cheek mucker.
Perhaps if there were an emoticon for that? It's hard to see a "cheek mucker" from here.
Never mind, then. *__-

I guess that I can't blame you for avoiding the discussion.
Perhaps another time.
Happy trails.

You posted;
"I believe we create our own reality from our thoughts and actions"
This invites discussion as it is a common hot topic in philosophy.
I responded to your 'belief', and you 'avoided' the discussion with;
"Just intro here."
making it no more than a tease. It's like saying something and avoiding consequences with; "just kidding".
Thanx! They are offered here (as food for thought) for you, enjoy. And I'm always willing to apply the Heimlich maneuver of elucidation when sincerely and respectfully requested! *__-Loving your posts. :)
Peace
