Because you have to admit, it is kind of funny, this is "A thread on a philosophy forum" and you cannot seem to differentiate this reality from one of employment...where you responsible for analysis at your prior job?

Regardless,

So does company involvement determine what sanity is?
Well stopped working 2000 May, in my time in the company I've been the ONLY person to be recalled 3 times and given very generous offer to come back ..that I couldn't refuse, since I was the ONLY that had high skill to tell senior staff, directors and CEO what to do and how to do their work.

Regarding to defining "sanity" and company, in order to climb up the ladder of a company you need a certain amount of intellect, save blue collar work which you are defined as a "blue collar worker" which doesn't require high intellect, if any at all, only good memory.
So you have not been working for close to twenty years for this company...and we are expected to believe that in the course of twenty years (considering you claim you where a valuable asset) that either you "refused a generous offer noone should refuse" (which can be labeled as insane)" or that for how "valuable you claim to be, twenty years of silence on there part speaks greater volumes"?

You viewpoint seems a little distorted...tell us what your skill was.

Notice the discussion with "hexhammer", a continual assertion of red-herrings, diverted topics, etc...

The thread from taking a unified structure now is broken into fragmented conversations, thoughts, etc...thus leading to an inherent sense of "chaos" or "dissimilarity" as subjects are brought up which do not reflect the original premises.

Can "insanity" be defined as "irrationality" or the inability to keep certain things in context? If sanity is the question of maintaining context, is sanity even possible or is it an illusion?

"Everyone who does not agree with me is a traitor and a scoundrel." King George 111
Obviously being a traitor and a scoundrel is not a mark of sanity. It is logical then that anyone opposing King George must be eliminated as insane assuring a sane society.
But King George was diagnosed as being crazy himself ?

Insane is a legal term, not a medical term.

Mad is a medical term.

So I'll give an example of what is not madness.

What is not madness is going to a standard supermarket in the US and shopping for food, then taking it to the check-out and paying for it then going home.

What is mad is doing the same thing naked.

It’s a word people use. What does ‘discuss’ mean? It that a command or a suggestion? Have you any preferred method of ‘discussion’ or just being lazy?

Technically speaking the modern prison is equivalent to the first ‘asylums’.

In the modern prison old asylums and schools the inhabitants are judged according to there ability to assume and replicate patterns of behavior. If these patterns are not assumed and replicated, effectively merged in the psyche of the individual/group, the individual/group is "judged" as deviant.

I emphasize the word "judge" for a reason...how does judgement apply to sanity and insanity?
