How could we move free in a deterministic world?

So what's really going on?

How could we move free in a deterministic world?

By respecting the laws of physics. Laws of physics allow us to have some degrees of freedom in order to make free decision and cause. Think of raising your hand. You basically move your muscles to receive an external force such that the center of mass changes its position. We, human and animal use the laws of physics to move around without knowing it.

Sure, even a fridge in orbit around the Earth has a freedom to do things without knowing it does them.
And our degree of freedom is vastly superior to that of a fridge, let alone one on orbit around the Earth.
