Mankind its Downfall

Re: Mankind its Downfall
Perhaps the downfall of humanism will be transhumanism.
If the only negative consequence of mankind's downfall is nostalgia - I am not too worried.

Good question, Dapplegrim. I think it means you have to first accept acceptance before acceptance can accept you.Dapplegrim wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 11:02 pmIs that like you first have to accept death before death can start accepting you?mystical_universe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 01, 2019 4:00 am Stubbornness, (The doom attribute)

They don't build each other out of dirt, as man has built cities.commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 7:35 pm btw, in my second year of undergrad, my team & I created a virtual robot to build more robots.

Empiricism at its best.

Well, if you are not a fool, and seriously in business of not being a fool, you can live forever. Theoretically speaking, according to the findings (unfortunately ungesprochen) in this thread.Dapplegrim wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:53 pmAcceptance is for fools.-1- wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 1:48 pmGood question, Dapplegrim. Well... what was the capacity of the robot to perform? If the robot that built other robots built other robots that tied shoe laces, or made ice cream, then they were not like humans, or like any other biologically behaving things.commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 7:35 pm btw, in my second year of undergrad, my team & I created a virtual robot to build more robots.
It would be neat if someone built a robot which could build robots that do nothing else but go about, gather energy and supplies, and use those to build robots like themselves.

Why think small. Think how good it would be when sex dolls create many varieties of sex dolls all eager to serve their master. They will even learn to cook. The price would go down and pretty soon a guy would have a harem incapable of arguing and all dedicated to serving him. ProgressBlonde Kristal is one of many carefully crafted dolls to hit the market in recent years and Nick is among a growing number of men ready to splash the cash on a plastic partner.
Every part of the dolls can be custom-made – from hair and eyes to the shape and texture of their nipples.
Buyers can even choose from a gallery of 11 different vagina styles and shapes, including 'neat' and 'tight' options, and varying clitoris sizes - but they'll have to fork out an additional £80 if they want pubic hair.
With several 'doll brothels' popping up across the world, including a shop named "The Dolly Parlour" in Greenwich, London, men are getting the chance to try before they buy.

Maybe people will trade their dolls. "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." A tit for a tat, and a duck for a ... .

Kijiji ad of the future:
"Two raven-haired beauties with major league gazoongas for $300, or could possibly trade for a pair of blue-eyed twins."
"Dolly Parton look-alike, parting out. My partner ripped off one of her tits, so I've decided to part her out.
... golden smile with dimples... $320.
... gazing, beautiful blue eyes: ... $553.
... legs that won't quit... $600 each, or two for a thousand bucks.
... one breast ... one for the price of two (you won't be disappointed.)
--- brain... $3."
etc.
"Igor, fetch me a snatch."
