Re: A Question for Philosophers
It's no problem tolerating that which is so easy to ignore.

A PhD is a nice thing to have on the wall and brag about. You can even get attention from the medias. But that's really all it's worth.
Some people who never get one are at least twice as smart. They just didn't bother to go through the education.

There are no "actual" philosophers on various forums but less than a handful with common sense, else you see people completely unsuited even for basic thinking, they babble and rave all day and all night!commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:11 pmThose of you who are philosophers, actual philosophers, how do you tolerate the rest of us?
If this was a business, ca 99% of these "cozy chatters" would have been fired!
In the early days I fortunately did away with complete retards that liked to define basic words, which have lead to my ban on most forums for calling people retards.

Step one is cause.commonsense wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:11 pm Those of you who are philosophers, actual philosophers, how do you tolerate the rest of us?
Everything after cause is effect.
1. Out of sight, out of mind.
2. Out of mind, out of memory.
3. Out of memory, it never even existed.
Conversely for tolerance, one two three, one two three ... cha cha cha singing dada.
