Now that we have moved into this age of The Digital Revolution; The Third Industrial Revolution we accept the fact that The Digital Revolution has brought with it digital currency. Digital currency is cryptocurrency.
Digital currency has no direct outer expression.
When someone holds digital currency they essentially hold, at this point of time, a set of keys in their minds. These keys are a set of numbers or letters or a string of seemingly random words.
So, an individual that has cryptocurrency can walk through an airport check counter and declare nothing as one would move, let’s say, to another country. No one would be the wiser.
In 2018 there are some countries, most recently India, that are making the ownership of cryptocurrencies illegal.
Essentially, those countries are making a thought illegal.
As international philosophers we can appreciate the term - Thought Police.
................................................
Whether cryptocurrencies ultimately free us or damn us to our deepest hell, at this point-in-time we must accept the fact that digital currency completely disrupts and changes everything we have previously held to be dear when it comes to the concept of value, commodities, and shared currency.
We are, ALL of us are, entering a new landscape of the mind. Within this new arena there will be strength and weakness. A new type of mental sickness and mental health. In order to survive in this new reality of mind we will need to become more self-conscious.
Those that can successfully become self-conscious for long periods of time will be the spigots of value; examples of health.
The others of us will become the mind parasites.

How come you believe cryptocurrencies are going to do such nonsense as free people? We've been over this topic before, and it has been explained to you why cryptocurrencies are very limited in their use and will not replace real currencies. It's also been explained to you why central banks are superior to such things as a gold standard, as there is also a well-documented history of numerous economic crashes caused by a gold standard, and you are expecting these cryptocurrencies to act like a modern-day gold standard.
Outside of a tiny handful of conspiracy theorists, and anarcho-capitalists, who is thinking along these same lines as you?

Again, I stick with the focus of my original post here.
Perhaps you don't see the need or future of cryptocurrencies. That is fine.
I think the topic of cryptocurrency, in general, reveals one's intuition.
Cryptocurrency is now and I believe cryptocurrency will change the landscape of many currency related institutions. Not saying things will be better. Just that cryptocurrency is now and is the future.
