How logical should language be?

What did you say? And what did you mean by it?

So, Veggie, the person who can only engage in personal insults, considers it a personal insult against her when someone merely points out the facts about her comments consisting of personal insults? It's in fact logical to point out when someone is behaving irrationally and engaging in personal insults. So, Veggie is so wedded to irrational behavior that she considers a person using logic as a personal insult?

I wonder if her comrades will even attempt to defend such lunacy?

What's this 'comrades' crap? Is that some sort of yank-specific insult, alluding to 'reds under the beds' paranoia? Gosh. How witty.

Veggie: Your PC shit is nauseating. Let's see, you hate guns, which is PC. You love Muslims, which is PC. You engage in identity politics, which is PC. You bash America, which is PC. You claim Israel stole "Palestine," which is PC. You love socialism, which is PC. Oh, and you can never engage in a rational argument, but resort to childish insults, which is also very PC.

This forum should rename itself --- a typical social media forum with PC scum like Veggie and her comrades in it.

This place obviously has zero to do with philosophy.

Like I stated before, Veggie, you are the scummiest person I've ever encountered on social media, and it's time to leave you to your own childish antics, as I have far better things to do in life than waste time with scum like you.

I 'love muslims' because I don't like to see them or their countries blown up. I don't enjoy human suffering, or any suffering for that matter.
I 'love muslims', and this 'insult' from an 'unbigoted non-racist' (he must be that because he's always calling everyone else a 'racist bigot').
I couldn't have wished for a more perfect demonstration of 'PCProgressive' hypocrisy.

I would love to know where this 'Israel stole Palestine' comment is. If anyone finds it could they copy-paste it? Thanks.

And bye, non-racist non-bigot who never insults anyone or lies his flabby white arse off. 'Scummiest person I've seen' must be a hip 'compliment' in the US, like 'bad-ass' or 'sick' or something.

If phil had his way with the English language, a play by Shakespeare would have been along the lines of:- A fat cat sat on the mat.

Shakespeare has his writing style as a playwright so his writing style already carries a certain logic that makes sense for his field.

His writing style carries the dental carries for my mind. His style chews on my brain, and little bits of the stuff gets stuck between his teeth.

That's why the Bard wrote, in "Hamlet, that Badass White Prancer":

"Chew I out thine brain, Herpes Horatio. Thee not compare wee weewil we, for thine shone out clamps my buttocks' tiny hair pieces."

What is 1/2 sale?

I can picture some asking what is this nonsense? There's no such thing as 1/2 sale. Au contraire mon capitaine, there is.

I worked at a place where the quota was one sale per hour so, e.g., if you worked 3 hours, then you were expected to produce 3 sales. Now what if you worked 3 and 1/2 hours a night? Then you were expected to produce 3 and 1/2 sales each night. So under this logic, it made perfect sense and the 1/2 sale really does exist and not a mere Abbott and Costello routine. So the moral to this story is you must consider context to gain a greater understanding.

Enough to get understood absolutely. Getting the message across appropriately is all that we need.
