That's true, but I meant to say it's a variation, a different sound!

Well I enjoyed the cartoon Bondi. In all honesty, the music was fun but didn't quite do it for me. I like the raw American folk best of all. For instance, the early music of the Appalachian Mountain settlers (as in the Iris Dement link). Their lives were extremely hard and often tragic, which comes over in the music and lyrics.

Hallelujah! Of course 'bum' means 'ass' (arse) over here  We'd call a bum a tramp, which would be all wrong in your lingo :D

Not sure what you'll make of this old ballad, orginally an English folk tale, but this version is sung by the Irish folk singer Christie Moore. It has a chilling ending.

:o Surprisingly, I really enjoyed that! It's not a style of music I've bothered with before.

Now for something totally different - Siberian Throat Singing. This is either hilarious or incredulous, or both...wait until you hear the young woman's deep gravelly sound. Listen out for the high pitched flute-like tones - this sound emanates magically from the deep throaty growls, they are overtones. This is the human body as a musical instrument!

The familiarity of the pattern makes it attractive.
It awakens remembrance by stimulating neural pathways which might have become forgotten or by harmonizing with our own energies it can imitate our becoming.

This is why music can be emotional and exhibit psychosomatic effects.
We are energy and so the vibrations are intimate to our becoming.
Yes, this is true.

Music has a tendency to converge a rhythm & beat toward an emotional mood...a rise and fall of your heart rate, for example.

The fact that certain, specific styles of music attracts certain, specific people signifies that music is "soulful".

In other words, people have certain genetic predispositions toward music, to like or dislike something, based on race.
