These sort of saying have more to do with selective bias than anything else. And tend to find a voice when and if they become apposite.thedoc wrote:

birds of a feather flock together; opposites attract

I suppose it's a bit like "situation ethics" where you make note of the situation and spout the Aphorism that fits, even though there is another Aphorism that states the opposite, yet is just as true, or not.Hobbes' Choice wrote:These sort of saying have more to do with selective bias than anything else. Re: My theory of personality types
There is a lot of overlap between archetypes and Tarot cards. There is a similarity there.Hobbes' Choice wrote:Seems to have more in common with Tarot Cards than psychologyKimani wrote:Hello, My name is Kimani Shorter and I'm promoting my theory of personality types. Re: My theory of personality types
All your questions are rubbish.
How often is often?
How extreme is extreme.
It's all subjective. It only asked about a person's view of themselves. It's worthless.
Re: My theory of personality types
The scores / test results from several Myers Briggs forums have helped me put together a rubric for my theory. I was able to figure out what the threshold / highest score should be for someone to have these archetype pairs / disorders.
Re: My theory of personality types
What type is Trump?
Reality show producer
Reality producer.
Same principle, different situation.
It would be the same principle if Trump was a farmer.
My mother said to me, 'If you become a soldier, you'll be a general; if you become a monk, you'll end up as the Pope.' Instead, I became a painter and wound up as Picasso. - Pablo Picasso

Re: My theory of personality types
Trump is the charmer. He has the coldness and apathy of the shadow archetype, manipulativeness of the trickster and outspokenness of the rebel archetype.

I'll give you two out of three and a chance to reconsider.Kimani wrote:Trump is the charmer. He has the coldness and apathy of the shadow archetype, manipulativeness of the trickster and outspokenness of the rebel archetype.
Re: My theory of personality types
In order to have any of these archetype pairs your highest score has to at least be a 105. That's the threshold.
