no moving things in heaven
no moving things in heaven
yeah when you go to heaven thats the end of it as far as moving things are concerned.why cos heavens an absolute fact so nothing happens there.moving things only happen in fiction events relative to that unmoving heavenly fact.

Re: no moving things in heaven
Apart from there is no 'heaven' and one won't be going to it that is.
Re: no moving things in heaven
Miving things act in relation to other things. There is no nothing, no unmoving thing.
Re: no moving things in heaven
the unmoving thing is nothing and is the relativity in the unmoving things creation. which is the moving thing.so in heaven there are no moving things only the relativity that existed in the created moving things movement.fact doesnt move of its self but moves all fiction creations.the relativity in the movement of fiction creations is therefor absolute fact.fiction cannot observe absolute fact as an object in the wave partical duality ex. and so we get heisenbergs uncertainty principle.absulute fact can only be observed as relativity in the created fiction event.consciousness is the unmoving nothing or the holy ghost.
Re: no moving things in heaven
Is there such a thing as nothing? Do you mean space?
Re: no moving things in heaven
space is not nothing as it and time are what no thing is with matter inside it.so its a relative of nothing the same as all else is.
Re: no moving things in heaven
Ah stagnant heaven, sounds more like hell. Honestly the Christian idea of heaven just makes you want to be evil so you don't go there because it would be the mind killer, utterly devoid of anything human and completely without any sort of redeeming features, that make it interesting. Full of self righteous pricks no doubt who are holier than though, one would assume anyone with any evil side wont be there so even people who are just basically good but had a few flaws is gone, which is about everyone interesting you will ever meet in your life. Devoid of anyone with any character, and a sort of mindless happy fest of like minded drones, Zombie heaven, no thanks give me hell any time, even if it is full of zombies, they will be more interesting brain loving undead.

So if we don't move, what are we?Bill Wiltrack wrote:We perceive motion in a static universe.

I don't know what we are.
Does movement, or lack thereof, help define who we are?

If the universe is static, what is happening here:

Evidently not very well as you are not reading what people write.Bill Wiltrack wrote:We are communicating.

Not sure what you mean here, Poor Bill. Certainly the potential for anything that could possibly happen exists at any time. Some might argue that at the quantum level of all reality is in a state of superposition and this is equivalent to Schrodinger's cat being both dead and alive at the same time, but I don't see how the collapse of the wave function is compatible with a static universe.

What is it that you find difficult to understand about time?
There are different ways to conceive time. Probably the easiest is simply: Something happens and then something else does.Bill Wiltrack wrote:We cannot conceive it.

yeah. OR you could conceive all time; ALL possibilities exist at the same time.
...and EVERYTHING else in between. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I hear you.

Or you could just say anything at all, and find that when you said it, people wanted reasons why, not word salad. That would help Dave.
It all happens at once does it, you might as well say nothing happens at all for all the sense that makes. Reason is not based on making utterly speculative conclusions in lieu of anything you can remotely explain, it's just not, unless you are talking about religion and then you can make any old fuckwittery up, no one will follow it anyway because people do tend to like reason over word salad even religious people, not do as I say commandeth the lord; frankly God is an idiot, if he really existed he would of been more convincing, and hence my point is so can you, ok you're not omniscient, omnipotent or omniwank, but yes you can do that Dave.

You appear to have conflated McTaggert's theory of block time, with some multiverse interpretation of quantum mechanics. For all I know you are right, Poor Bill. Do you have any evidence to support this?Bill Wiltrack wrote:yeah. OR you could conceive all time; ALL possibilities exist at the same time.
