Philosophically, isn't that beautiful? Isn't beauty suitable for work? Isn't beauty suitable in itself?
Philosophically, isn't beauty always suitable?
Isn't beauty suitable in any surroundings? Doesn't the concept of beauty supersede any temporary surroundings beauty might find itself in?

...that's Okay. Socrates states, in some way, that beauty, like other major concepts trumps all other temporary surroundings that [beauty] may find itself in.
There are concepts, that cannot be diminished and superseded their temporary surroundings.
The beauty of a woman cannot be diminished or altered by the mere surroundings [it] may find itself in.
So there...
Do you believe that the image of beauty is something that supersedes the workplace environment or have you been brow-beaten to the point where you cannot understand beauty & work? Enjoyment & work?

Me: don't give a flip one way or the other what another has flashin' on his or her computer, or posted to his or her wall.
But: that's just 'me'.
What other folks in the office (especially bosses) think is on them.
Moot anyway: I self-employ, my office is my car, and I look at any damned thing I want to during work.

What country do you live in?
What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

This is an aesthetics thread so I'm moving it to the aesthetics section of the forum.

Plato would agree with your there. Plato argued for there being a thing called, "beauty itself". Basically there exists two worlds, the world of forms and the physical world as we know it. Plato would also say that beauty itself is the only true reality, a beautiful painting would be 'less real' than the form of beauty.
Roughly, Plato is saying that anything that we consider beautiful exists in a single form of beauty itself. Perhaps we could say that beauty itself encompasses all beautiful things. We have access to the forms through our minds. According to Plato anyway.
Is this what you are getting at Bill?

That's part of it. And if that were the total argument in itself I think that philosophical argument would be an adequate argument for the acceptance of a woman's body being suitable for work.
So, in that aspect, I would agree with you.
I think there is at lease one other significant philosophical question. That is – Is a woman's body not suitable for work?
If it isn't...why?
Why would anyone, adult or minor, need to be warned; [NSFW] that a human figure may be shown?
WTF is Rick?

I guess that would depend on the work.
Plato would probably argue that an incompetent male police officer would be surpassed in effort and ability by an a competent female police officer.
