It's been a while: school, work and travel are heavy things to juggle.
I have begun a new blog, centering around philosophy, politics and business (usually a combination the three).
I really subscribe to the idea that Mill's puts forward in 'On liberty'. To really understand your own viewpoint and the criticisms to it, and therefore to have an informed opinion, you have to open yourself to debate.
With that in mind, I'd really love to get some debates and discussions going on the blog and on this site.
Hopefully this is okay with the mods? if not, give me a spanking and I'll do as I'm told.
feedback, good or bad, would be really appreciated.
I'm two in. I like to try and keep it short, so no excuse for you lazy people either!

Visited your blog...
Why don't you just articulate your thoughts here?
Maintaining a blog seems like a lot of work and you don't get the exposure or audience that you have here.

Powerful .gif response. I won't lie, I had to take a breather after that one. You cut me deep.
The blog is something new to me, evidently. I see it as a platform to write down my thoughts. Pretty much a journal that anyone can pick up and read, maybe have a chat if they fancy it.
That said, I take your point on board.
I'll try and work with both platforms as it stands. Perhaps when work gets in the way I'll have to choose philosophy now or blog, as it stands, they aren't mutually exclusive.
Any thoughts on beggars and words?
P.S.
Nice mockery of my random use of the bold function. You have to admit though, it really catches the eye.

I wouldn't leave the day-job just yet. Not unless you can afford to that is.
Why would I ask you how to fund your first book? Surely this statement means you know.Or, tell me how awesome i am and ask me how to fund my first book!

In the sense that you want to invest in me; fund me In terms of a bank transfer, cheque or cash. I was joking around.Arising_uk wrote:You've not really said anything yet.ubermensch wrote:Come on guys!
