2:37 minutes long.
Al-Jazeera, basic idea: lab-grown meat, beef has been produced in a lab using stem cells.
This pops a lot of questions for the future... will there be a future ban on commercial animal slaughter? Will this temporarily give a big boost to solving the world's food and environment problems ? The data in the last bit of the video is quite exceptional. Will this mean that in the future Indians can start enjoying beef because it's not really "a cow/bull as such" (has no soul certainly), and MacDonald's getting a western-ized menu in India?
In health terms I think it's not gonna be good because one of the healthiest things you can eat is not "a something", but a little of everything (that is meant for eating as food, notably), and biological diversity may be lost upon our bodies.
Start of a future ban on commercial animal slaughter?

2:22 minutes. It's a follow-up, but with a bit of the same shots.

But are not potatoes genetically modified in the US ?
To increase crops and to make them resistent against diseases and insects.
Which plants Monsanto has taken care of until now ?
I hope that hemp is not among them. I eat it every day for breakfast (grown in Austria, hemp flour, full of Omega 3 and protein).

I think we'll be eating whatever the monopolists decide to be honest.
