Did you read it word for word and maybe 2-3 times? I believe if anyone does (atheists included *maybe*) they may see the connection between Revelation 17 and 18 and real world data.

The key verse in Revelation 17 and 18 is Rev. 17:17:
"For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled."
What makes me an authority on the subject? How about the letter from Encyclopaedia Britannica that said I know more about the beast with the name/number 666 than they do (see http://church-of-ouzo.com/pdf/encyclope ... annica.pdf)?

Well, first of all, I'm glad to see you looking at the KJV, which is the only proper translation of Revelation. Everything you ever needed to know about Rev. 13:18 is contained in "The Ouzo Prophecy" at http://church-of-ouzo.com/pdf/ouzo-prophecy.pdf. That paper starts out with a poetic introduction, but other Ouzo poetry can be found at http://church-of-ouzo.com/pdf/ouzo-poetry.pdf.

Bob

13 November, 1986 date of letter. Move along.

Although I will say, when I first came on this forum, I was puzzled by you, as most are at first encounter, but you do seem to have a certain persistence and thick skin, that a large number of us decidely lack.

So I say, keep promoting Ouzo. Skol!

Are you suggesting that since Encyclopaedia Britannica's letter was written in 1986, it should be dismissed? Do you realize how difficult it is to get Britannica to admit a mistake since its articles are written by acknowledged experts in their field? They refused to make the correction until I tracked down the writer, Krister Stendahl, who was formerly the head of Harvard's Divinity School and was now the Bishop of Stockholm and head of the Church of Sweden, and convinced him that he was wrong and I was right. My argument consisted of explaining that his identification of the beast with the name/number 666 invalidated "The Ouzo Prophecy." He insisted that Britannica make the correction. You notice that Britannica did not thank me for bringing the error to their attention.

I dont understand what you are referring to? I put information in the first slide regarding the Vatican and it NOT being one of the seven hills of Ancient Rome.

What is the Encyclopaedia Britannica business about? What does their article say (and about what?) and what is it specifically you have a rebuttal against?

Seen it. Sagan is in hell now serving his master whom he served on earth.

Bobevenson

Read 'The protocols of Zion'. Protocols 23 and 24 (i would affirm with personal certainty) is the same figure being described in Revelation 13:11-18.

For veg piece on Carl Sagan

What a great advocate and promoter you are for your God, Bob.

What decent person could ever worship, support or believe in a God that would condemn such a gentle and intelligence man such as Carl Sagan to an eternity of torture?

What the fuck are you even talking about? Anybody who believes in that creationism bullshit or the crap turned out by all the organized religions on Earth should be pitied. Only the book of Revelation and "The Ouzo Prophecy" can offer people spiritual salvation, my friend.
