My point was only about the amount of war-mongering belligerence associated with, "American patriotism," mistaken for integrity and defense of real values. You're going to see a lot of saber-rattling and, "make America great," sloganism. It has already started.
That's how Hawks are. The withdrawal has got 'em flustered.
Afghanistan: 20 years and 80 billion dollars to build an native military the Islamists are dismantlin' in less than a month.
The US nation builds: Afghans are screwed over, the Islamists get new toys, and Americans pay for it.
We shoulda never plunked ourselves down there.
