The robot you've been using for sex will soon be given human rights.

...better to ask for forgiveness now.

Heads up, Japan.

When they get the human rights they will want to vote, to drive cars, dress the way they like and probably give birth, which could be done internally with the proper test-tube cocktails.

But if they say screw the synergy it could mean their voice in design creation will run to terminator teeth. Fortunately, abstinence from jazzed-up onanism confers choiceless immunity from machines hell-bent on reparations. Unfortunately, by that time the machines will have the capacity to alter the digital records of video, sound, and words.

A conscious person should have rights otherwise what does having rights mean because things are not conscious. If any justice will give rights to robots then justice would be the one sooooooo screwed.

I agree with you so far as to say, I think humanity would be better off if humans had more rights. More rights over the power of fiat money - IF that's possible.

Although, I do support and I would wish to see more laws that protect the environment and insects & animals.

As more interaction between robots & humans develop more laws to protect humans from robots and laws to protect robots from humans will be required.

I do like your tact that consciousness should be a large factor in the future of law. Again, if that continues to be possible.

Since when has that been fiat money and why on earth do you think you have more power over cryptocurrencies?

So what are these rights you wish over the power of fiat money?

Cryptocurrencies are not backed nor issued by any government. That is HUGE.

Currently governments and their central bank systems tend to curtail, if not capture, their citizens into the use of their particular government issued currency. Which, inevitably, is rendered useless/valueless through inflation.

Have you NOT been paying attention?!!!

All this means for you I guess is that in the future you will pay your sex robot in some sort of cryptocurrency instead of the queen's pound sterling.

***Fun Fact: I know you were a former driver - UK's taxis now accepting crypto!

Only to those who are doing something illegal.

You Yanks and your 'evil big gubberments'

Ever thought that your cryptocurrency is useless without fiat money?

Inflation is only a problem to those stupid enough to think of money as only an asset and not a means to buy assets. Whereas for gubberments inflation is useful as it can save the taxpayer money on debts that gubberments incur when building things for the taxpayer.
Have you NOT been paying attention?!!!
Sure have and most of what you say is ill-informed guesswork.

Prefer the wife thanks.

 Let's hope you don't have to get somewhere in a hurry then.

Cryptotokens will be useful for some things and completely pointless for others and as money is one of them although it's not beyond the bounds to imagine one of them might make it but it'd have to be very stable as who wants to risk accepting something that could lose value overnight? Given you think of them as a speculative asset that will make you rich have you ever thought that the last thing you want is for them to become money?

Actually, I look forward to the day that cryptocurrencies are accepted as legitimate alternatives to government back fiat.

I hope, in the very near future, to be able to assist in the support of the network in a deeper way to assist the eventual elevation of that goal.

Don't know if I will live that long but, I hope.

Yes, things can affect any one of the over 2,000 existing cryptos that could render any of them worthless at any moment. That is part of the risk that goes with all cryptos at the moment.

**Fun Fact: Venezuela is currently going through devastating inflation from their government backed fiat. So, this is what I mean that ALL fiat currencies that have ever been created or are currently being used eventually are borrowed into oblivion by the very governments that created them...

Thank you for your response. I totally understand where you are coming from.

Think about what you are actually saying for once. Imagine the complications involved in a system where everyone of your states had different monies.
I hope, in the very near future, to be able to assist in the support of the network in a deeper way to assist the eventual elevation of that goal.
Are you teaching yourself to write dapps, blockchains, etc? If not you are just trying to make yourself wealthy by speculation.
Don't know if I will live that long but, I hope.

Which is why you are speculating them but if what you appear to say you want occurs then there won't be all these cryptos and they won't be the speculative asset you hope.
**Fun Fact: Venezuela is currently going through devastating inflation from their government backed fiat. So, this is what I mean that ALL fiat currencies that have ever been created or are currently being used eventually are borrowed into oblivion by the very governments that created them...
This depends upon the government and in this case Marxist/socialist ones appear to be the worst culprits.
Thank you for your response. I totally understand where you are coming from.
No you don't as if you did you'd actually engage in philosophical critique of your thoughts to improve them.

Have you even thought about the amount of energy, computing power and network infrastructure needed to implement a cryptotoken as a viable money?

I constantly re-evaluate my thoughts and positions philosophically.

Cryptocurrency is an emerging, developing technology.

I see good & bad aspects to crypto.

Regardless of my opinions of the technology is the fact that development is moving forward.

Supposedly, in the USA, the Securities & Exchange Commission - SEC will soon be attempting to define Ether & other ERC20 tokens in a closed-door meeting. If that is true, regardless of their decision, their simple acknowledgement of this technology, will lend legitimacy to the environment.

Again, I am not asking you or anyone else to look upon the emerging technology of cryptocurrency in a favorable way.

*IF NOTHING ELSE I have learned that peoples' reaction to crypo reveals their level of intuition.

No you don't you just jump on whatever strikes your goggling.
Cryptocurrency is an emerging, developing technology.
And that's news?
I see good & bad aspects to crypto.
Pray tell?
Regardless of my opinions of the technology is the fact that development is moving forward.
When does it ever go backwards?

"Supposedly" :lol:

Ether doesn't need to be 'legitimized' it needs the big financial institutions to take up blockchain technology and use Ethereum to build their dapps and contracts.
Again, I am not asking you or anyone else to look upon the emerging technology of cryptocurrency in a favorable way.
Who says I don't? I just don't add on a load of political fantasy.

As usual your 'intuition' is garbage.

Do we?

Is that the royal 'we' or the gnu 'we'?

I've placed my bets on cryptotokens and look at them as a very long-term investment that may or may not come off for my kids, if it doesn't then no worries as I'm not stupid enough to bet money I can't afford to lose. As for trying to make a short-term buck off them I use a tracker fund.

Sounds like a bee got under your bonnet. Don't know why.

Hope you recover.

More towards the topic, I see that you reserve a cautious belief in this new digital currency.

Again, good luck to you...
