Neither Slave Nor Master

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Neither Slave Nor Master

Post by Systematic »

The slave is not good with his/her tendency to serve. Nor is the master good with his/her tendency to rule. The good are those who will not align with them nor forgive them who use others. And the good are they who will compensate others for their service. They are the ones who want freedom and equality for all, though they would not like themselves to be slaves.

That makes sense, and lies in stark contrast to Nietzsche, thinking that they who desire liberty are slave moralists. Though that is an illicit conversion of what Nietzsche said.

They who cannot decide, like they who could never enact, are lacking in full human intelligence. Though, they might be savants at their roles.
