Trolling and the morality of bullying on the internet.

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

But can´t Richard Dawkins start a new forum any time ?

Then people who are not trolls could join again, the old ones and new.

Perhaps there is a new forum somewhere, a secret one.

The forces of evil cannot win because the majority of us is normal and wants a constructive exchange of ideas.

Or: Rick could invite Mr Dawkins to have his own section here.
Perhaps they ran out of debatable issues ...

The Forums moderators formed several new forums, each has a plague of trolls, but as you say the forces of good eventually got the site back up although not as a RD affiliated site, Richard Dawkins himself gave up on that idea. ;)

Richard Dawkins did indeed speak on his own website on occassion answering various questions, but I somehow doubt he is all that keen to repeat the experience his own website had from the vast horde of trolls it had to deal with. Sadly. :(

Perhaps the biggest irony as I say was the vast majority of trolls were not even creationists. Human beings are pretty sad. :P

Ran out of debatable isssues? The existence of God, the issue of religions effect on society. Not even close they had close to a thousand posts a day at their peak, mostly from people interested in evolution and or the issues around it. They had a vast number of users, ok they weren't the biggest site out there but they were certainly in the top 200. :)

It's all just harmless sport until the one being bullied retaliates.... we have seen it too many times in school shootings in the US, work place....Words are powerful. Love or War you decide.
