"at-will" employment
"At will" employment is just a way for employers to make jobs worse and worse until they find the lowest cost in-between forcing people to quit and having to pay HR to find more.

once your will is processed through the probate courts, you can be employed...

unless your employer and you are in a contract with each other that stipulates otherwise, they have the right to terminate your employment in a moments notice just as much as you have the right to terminate your employment in a moments notice.
what are you communist or something? you see this as a bad thing?

Yes to both. The employer always has greater power, and to make it existentially so invalidates the purpose of contracts, to provide social stability upon which people can make good determinations about the course of their lives.
