meat
/miːt/
noun
1.
the flesh of an animal, typically a mammal or bird, as food (the flesh of domestic fowls is sometimes distinguished as poultry ).

Life is complicated Henry. Humans are infinitely complex. Stop being such a shallow little jerk and use your imagination for once.

Yesh, all the whoppers you tell (to yourself)...hard to keep track of.

*ahem*

The question: Does a pregnant woman carry a human being/person or just 'life'/meat?

Look at the little men, crowing as if they have 'won' some kind of victory
Your 'question' is meaningless and rhetorical. A six week old embryo is a potential human being hence the need for abortion for many women. There generally isn't a heck of a lot of emotional attachment to an unwanted six week old embryo. The one who has come closest to thinking of it as 'meat' is your buddy ick. Fodder for pushing his religious agenda.

Henry the hypocrite. Always drivelling on about his 'freedom' and how he doesn't bother anyone and ''no b'tard is gonna tell me what to do blah blah blah....'' Tediously boasting about guns and shooting people and ranting about 'self-sufficiency' and that none of his stuff is gonna be stolen by da 'commie bastards' to help others. Yep. He has the greatest reverence for human life. What a wanker.

a pregnant woman in Virginia drives to a planned parenthood to have an abortion... that fetus is not a life...

a pregnant woman in Virginia is driving and is hit and killed by a drunk driver... the prosecutor charges the drunk with a double homicide... that fetus is a life...

psst.

I meant person (specifically as in a homicide charge) not merely alive or a life

"A six week old embryo is a potential human being"

Okay...good...progress.

So: why is the six week old embryo a potential human, but anyone reading this an actual human?

What's the difference between that embryo and you?

If the thing in the woman is a person, then that person is a person across all circumstances. Killed by a doctor, killed by a drunk driver: no difference ('cept mebbe intent [premeditated in one, accidental in the other]).

If the thing in a woman is just sexually generated meat, then that meat is just meat across all circumstances. Ended by a doctor, ended by a drunk driver: who cares ('cept mebbe as property issue ['cuz of you, Mr. Drinky, I lost my meat!'])?

Indeed they do.

But if they don't care about being objectively morally right about that, they won't care about being rationally consistent either. The two are a package deal.

At least you are irrationally consistent. You wouldn't recognise a rational argument if it bit your dick off.

'Argue' about it till the cows come home. Access to safe, legal abortion is essential for women. That's all you perverted male turds need to know.
